Andail, you basically have the relationship but you need to realize and state the method you are using to form new words.  Also, there is an alternate way to dissect "brandy".

sheath  pirate ashamed brandy

These four words share a quality unlike most words.  Observe them carefully and report what you think it is that they have in common.   The person who gets the closest to the answer will be dubbed "king of the day with too much time on his hands." *Note- there are many relationships to guess but you will undoubtebly KNOW the answer when it hits you, so you may want to refrain from posting unless you simply want to help the next person*

I read this riddle in a bathroom reader and it frustrated the crap out of me.

perhaps a link to the AGS Ezine, and a description of what it is... would help.

"Tim Burton used a black actor for the upcoming two-faces character "

"About Harvey Dent...changed the color of Harvey"

"I just like the fact that Harvey Dent was played by Lando Calrission."

CAN JUST ONE PERSON REFER TO THE MAN AS Billy D. Williams?! Jeeze. The man deserves oscars. Like eleven of them.

General Discussion / Re: Americanisation?

What I'm learning is that the audience is full of people seeking entertainment.  If one word is keeping you from being entertained, you are a lost cause.

when I think of philosopher, I think of Socrates or Plato.  These men were full of thought but performed little magic.  Beyond Harry Potter, I have never been aware of philosophers performing magic.   Does that make me dumb or am I simply exposed to different word usages?

Right, so Hollywood felt its US demographic would see movie posters and be bored by the concept of Plato and his kidney. C'est la life.

Even if you can protect from people saving the image itself, someone can always "printscreen' and crop the image.  My suggestion- don't worry about it.   I know very few people who have had their images "stolen' and used without their permission.

Let me get a word in about these rumors.

Contraversy worked VERY well for Mel Gibson and "Passion Of the Christ."  Despite LOADS of negative criticism, the movie raked in tons and tons of money at the box office.

Likewise, these "Supes" casting rumours could be trying to stir up contraversy and therefore publicity just the same.   And here we all are going crazy and yelling "WHY ON EARTH WOULD THEY CAST A BLACK LOIS?!! PC PC PC!"

I got it,  took a few minutes.  My first whim was to find something similar to the doorman puzzle on Phatt Island on MI2.  After that notion passed, I thought mathematically for a total of 2 minutes before I got lazy.   And then the answer came.

I've met Michael Moore on two occasions.Ã,  The first time was during a book signing for Stupid White Men and I told him "Good luck with your new movie."Ã,  The second time was in an auditorium at the university and he was passing around his Oscar.Ã,  I handed him a mini-dv tape and he politely took it from me and said thank you.

I've been a stronger fan of his in the past and I agree now that he can be a bit extreme.Ã,  But from what I've seen, he is a caring human being.Ã,  Ã, At the speech at the university, a young republican stood up and asked Michael "What are you going to do with all the money you make from the movie?"

The response was as funny as hell.

"I'm going to buy a really big yacht."

He deserves it.

I never got cuaght up in Star Wars.  I can watch the movies but I don't remember many names or relationships.  I enjoy the original three of course, as movies.  I haven't adopted the franchise.

The newer two were pretty much people just going from place to place for no apparent reason.  "We must move the princess to yet another planet, quick!"

I don't care what you say Hyde.  I know I'll never touch her.  But the girl does about the same character in every movie - and i argue that even dumb blond girls vary every once in a while from one another.
