The next part is the code at the power plant, for some unknown reason before it didn't progress the story as i thought. anyway, i've been taking close notice of the dialogues but nothing about giving the clue for the code.  i also went back to the farm to see if there was any clues there, but to no avail nothing.

That would be great if you could make a visual tutorial, also if you need actors for your game.  I would be more than happy to make a template of myself doing different things, if you need actors and such.  My email address is dean@team.bordernet.com.au if you would like my help.

I will either do a screen-cap tutorial or a youtube video, we'll see - but something and soon, but today I found myself too busy to do it.

Added a new WIP background to the first post, of what might work out as the interior of Lytton PD, Detective's Division.  It would be the left hallway, one of probably four hallway scenes in the PD to make up the entire building.  I have another background of the right hallway in the works, but I pretty much just need to figure out the layout of it and straighten some basic things out before I can really share it.

Awesome, I look forward to the tutorial.  I am really looking forward to the completion of this.  I really hope it doesn't die.

General Discussion / PC Specs?
Tue 12/02/2008 05:00:21
I am just wanting an idea on what people computer specs are in the AGS community.  I want to develop a game, but dont want to develop something that has system requirements that are too high for people.  Only reason being is that my PC specs are fairly high spec.  And also I am using Wintermute as well, not AGS (dont flame me!).  So some research would be great on what people are using.

I was curious on how you do those backgrounds, I want to do something very similar and I was wondering how you do it.

Critics' Lounge / New Track I have written
Thu 26/07/2007 18:24:26
Well I have to admit this song well what can I say.. totally progressive metal in every way.

The song itself as quoted by one of my friends as Blackfield/Porcupine Tree meets Pain of Salvation meets Dream Theater meets Devin Townsend.  LoL

The track itself was written in Nuendo with Reason rewired into, usually third party vstis from Native Instruments, which a lot is Absynth 3.  A lot of the other samples including drums and guitars are me playing with Reason.  The guitar is a replacement track which I am replacing with real guitar when my friend rocks up to my house on the weekend.  Also it will includes vocals in the near future.

The track is not mixed yet, no fx or mastered, so please be aware of that.  There are a few things that I will fix up including some end notes here and there.  But yeah, I am really proud of it and it clocks in around the 10 minute mark in true prog style.

I hope everyone enjoys it :D
