i have to post an entry simply because of the theme  ;)

looks more like an evil base of operations than a castle...
#262
have you tried

StopMoving(EGO);

as the first line in your script in the player walks onto region interaction?
#263
interesting idea arman, but it is generally good manners to at least have some initial artwork completed or story or a fundamental understanding of AGS before asking people to help on your game. ;)
i'm fairly new compared to everyone else on the board, but have been lurking the boards for almost a year and had some art work done before my first post.
anyway, welcome mate.

nevermind found SetSkipSpeech()
#265
how do i set it so the player cannot click through a speech? or set a length of time before it goes away... can't seem to locate it in manual sorry.
#266

Sprite Jam June 21 to June 28

Adventure games characters dressed as other adventure games characters.

eg: Davy Jones dressed as Rode Kill, or Guybrush Threepwood dressed as LeChuck

Good lucky charms, laddies!

any resolution: 256 color

lol. thanks makri for the vote  ;D
you can totally tell i used mspaint.  ;)

nice. :)  graphics reminded me of maniac mansion somewhat. driving reminds me of spy hunter. brings back fond memories.

I think you can just run a script and use DisplaySpeech() instead.

eg:

DisplaySpeech (EGO, "&1 Who is the boss of you?");

actually, the player character has a mohawk haircut, but you cannot see it under the hat.  ;)

also the addition of the player's evil pet jellyfish will make for some interesting puzzles.

*new* also fixed the verb-coin to new smaller size.

thanks for the comments, guys. Progress is fairly steady, hope to complete by end of July.

It's July and not even 25% yet. More rooms and art than i expected. Still pushing...

welcome. i'm sort of new myself. good luck.

I like the verb coin for its simplicity. (sorry aussie!) Mainly because I don't like right clicking.
i also like verb box with inventory beside it. I will try it in next game.  ;)

thanks for checking it out m0ds.  :) I'll work hard so it won't disappoint.

btw... how's this look for a plankton tycoon?

That is good.

Quotesome people actually believe Bush is the best thing since sliced bread.

Was that supposed to be blatantly sarcastic? I'm not trying to pick a fight with you, Makri. I like your style and technique and would like to be in good speaking terms with you. I sincerely hope no one believes I think Bush is "the best thing since sliced bread." I sure didn't vote for him.

Look, the picture came off as a little anti-american to me, but we've established here it is not. Which is good. I simply posted a comment.
btw: I knew about Tarja Halonen because I had to write a paper on women in power while in college. Unlike Bush, she's good for the economy.

Happy adventuring.

I'm not offended so long as it's only aimed at mr. Bush and not Americans in general.  ::) Realise, though, that it is a joke about assasinating a country's president. I would never even dream of making a  joke about assasinating Tarja Halonen, for example. It would be wrong. Like Trapezoid said, it is flame bait, but I understand Bush isn't a very popular person lately. sorry for my little bit of angst. As for the art, very skillfully done.

nice. good shading. to me the character, doesn't look bold, but instead a quiet studious type.
