The police are useless....

The nearest police station os 18 miles away....

And their response time is 3 hours later....

It could be the type of sound file.....wav are normally good but if they are wav(mpg extensions) they cause an error after exiting the game.

This game has a small dig at vel.......its not a malicous attack at vel as boyd stated vel does`nt care about offending people......
I could of done loads of wanking scenes ....vel pissing the bed ......or him getting terminated by arnie...(these thoughts did cross my mind but i decided that stuff is for my flashbax audience...)
So i went for a game that was more subtle.

just one controversial part, when you have the melted tyre, and you try to give it to the scientist, it says it should be flesh coloured, now I'm sure you're aware that skin colour comes in quite a variety of shades, maybe you should just re-word it.

TK ....are you refering to Apocolypse vel.....

The game had a few of the criteria asked .....and it did take place in a apocalyptic world.....(they do need to be created at some point......normally over thousands of years ......i took a short cut).

The way it pans out in the story is what i was thinking after seeing the rules......which then allowed timetravel to be part of the game.

The game was very tongue in cheek as a result of vel`s harsh review of flashbax.......
I can take critism but i thought vel still has a problem with the risky parts which clouded his outlook of the game......

As a result lots of banter which on my part(is in a playful way...)

went to and fro...

I made this as i liked the subject this month and i wanted to show vel.....
a recent winner of mags.....that a better standard than 3 rooms no puzzles crap interface ....could be achieved in a short time.

I think vel takes things to heart and thats the way he comes across....

I made this for a laugh and did`nt result to some of the ideas i could of used.......

Like the bit where he`s computers blown up....he says:

i `ll have to find something else to do with my spare time.......

(I refrained from the obligatory wanking scene)......flashbax is my smutty game and thats where that sort of thing will stay ....

Vel you should understand this game has a little dig a you but not much.

Your the main character for f*** sake.....and also the part at the end ......

Did remixoor kill him.......i left that for you guys to decide thats why you did`nt see anything.......

Yes the next severed hand game.....is the prequel to flashbax.....in production as we speak.

When i made this game i could have snowballed in to a 15 - 20 room game with more characters and such....

But the clock was ticking and i wanted to present a complete package unlike other MAGS games ...including a intro,a few characters,some puzzles ,sfx,music and ending.

Which i have delivered ....Hopefully with not many bugs.

Have i missed the point.....

Are`nt you supposed to be making this game for your school project........not the rest of the forum members.

Why don`t you get someone to do the backgrounds and the music aswell why your asking....(sarcasm).

Sorry if i come across uncaring but if you are puting this forward as your school project.....you should at least put the effort in.

I think you should do your own character design no matter what the results.......then if you win the prize it would have been done on your own merits.....not someone elses.

I`m sure lots of people would help including myself if you was just making a game and wanted a few people in on the project.

Its like sitting an exam (something i have`nt done for a long time)....and getting the answers off of someone next to you.
You may pass.....but the other person deserves the credit.

I`m starting to sound like someones dad.....

Why don`t you tie the sound into the animation of the phone ringing.....

So it plays sample when the phone anim...moves...and put a still frame with a time delay.......in the view.

The you can control it by using object animate......when character picks up u just stop animation...

Its my attempt to show mr.vel that even in 11 days you can make a game for mags that is`nt complete shit.....like some i don`t want to mention...

Hope you did`nt get any problems with the bug....i`m sorting that out at the moment ....i hate windows xp and norton.....nothing but virus bugs...my machine is giving loads of greif i just hope i can get the file back up quiickly..
