I would lose the black outlines on the van, probably change them to some mid-scale grey. Perhaps you could also do something with the wheels on both cars, draw some alloys or hub caps or whatever.

I'm not if the shading of the windows works, but that's a bit of gray area for me, so I'm not sure how to improve it.

Awesome stuff so far! When everyone's already releasing stuff, I might as well post stuff from a game I used to work on a while ago. I haven't actually given up on it, so here goes.

After getting lost in the woods Joey and his friends finally found a place to spend the night. But it turns out there are strange things going on in the old building. Step into the shoes of Joey, Zack and Emily and uncover the dark secret of the hotel, solve mysterious puzzles and get out alive!

Bringing this up to say that after several weeks of not working on the game, I'm at it again. The overall progress is still about 1/3 though...
I would like to say that I'm releasing the game this summer, but I highly doubt it :P Anyway, all your comments motivate me to do it! :)

On Peanut Monkey's paintover it looks like he's intentionally squinting his eyes. You might try not make the eye whites visible at all, since eyes are usually in the shadow and the white kind of blends in the skin colour. But if you're going for a cartoony style, I think your original picture is pretty good.

This started out as experimenting with evening sky. I'm not very happy with it, but since I don't have much time for finishing touches at the moment, this is my entry.
