NOTE: I made this little game for a Pub-themed MAGS competition some 4 years ago. I know that's ancient history, but I realised I never really made a thread for it, so why the heck not do it now? Having only been mentioned it in the MAGS thread quite possibly limited its exposure. I've also fixed some bugs since the initial release.


Ed Watts: Bar Runner is a short little silly game. Help Ed serve drinks, clean toilets, deal with cranky customers and a young crappy band, and find the mysterious hidden secret treasure hidden somewhere in the pub!

Just a note to everyone, once you have a lot of cash, Ammu-Nation (AMU) seems to be a solid investment.
I've invested ~$20m with each character yesterday and already the shares are worth enough to pay me back ~$120k.
It seems like it's going upwards steadily every day.

As for the game itself, I haven't played it yet. I'll probably pick it up when it comes out on PC.

As a fan of Ben Jordan series I gave it a shot.

I didn't get much of the story, but I was hoping it would unravel during the gameplay. But the gameplay was virtually impossible, because the tiny and well hidden room exit hotspots. There was no visual clue (a door, or a pathway), nor a GUI label with hotspot names. I had to click the entire screen to find the exit!

I got to the hotel room where some guy wanted his marbols (marbles? Marlboros?), managed to click my way to two other rooms in the building, but found nothing I could do. Then gave up. It got frustrating.

Ah, feels good being 22.
