It did that to me too, here's how I got around it to finish the game.

When I tried to use the money bag on the urn I got the error message, when I lifted the urn & then quickly put the money bag in it's place I didn't get an error message. Hope this wrks for you too. 8)

I've trapped Vi on the disc, returned the King, trapped Rus in the room with the singing hair and gotten the key, but how do I find the niece? How do you get past the mud? and Do you need to destroy the iceburg and if so, how? A walkthrough would be really great at this point, I'm very frustrated.

It's been awhile since I played that one but I seem to remember combining some of the things I had to make something to wear after dropping the coin. Hope this helps.
