Quality game. Donnie Darko has to be one of the best movies I've ever seen. Your backgrounds helped capture the mood of the movie.
Spoiler
I would have rather seen the puzzle order be in that of the Mall, The Movies and then the Letter, Kinda like the movie. I would have like to see you do a Frank the Bunny sprite though! Try to make him as creepy as he was in the movie.

Kick ass, a must-play if your a fan of the movie!  :)

Spent a little time on this. If you want simplier, tell me and I will spend some more time.

Also if you need any more help with any webpage related stuff, go ahead and ask me.  ;)

It is clean and simple. I wouldn't try to do anything really extensive such as a full blown graphical website considering Freewebs has a 500mb transfer rate / month cap on it. That is one thing I have to worry about when I do my extensive shit, but lately, I have taken the road of simple to avoid going over my transfer rate.

Hope to see more of your site soon.  :)

your site at Geocities was short and to the point. Hopefully you will develop your site at freewebs more extensively.

Just wondering, but if there were leafs already hitting the meteorite, doesn't that mean that there is like .0001 seconds before it hits Earth? Otherwise, I love it! I would kill to come up with cool ideas like this. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to play the game.

Kicks ASS! One day, it would be cool for someone to redo the graphics for both Leisure Suit Larry 2 & 3, but this is great for now!

Ok, here is my dilemma. I want to be able to cancel a character's action while they are in mid-action.

For example: A character moves towards an object with the intent of picking up the object. I want the ability to Right-Click as they are moving towards the object and make them stop moving and wait for further instruction.

It sounds easy, but I am using a MoveCharacterBlocking command which disables control to the script until the character arrives at their intended destination.

Could this be an impossible idea?

Thanks for the help guys!  :)

If you played DOTT, whenever you click on an Inventory Item, the inventory item becomes a cursor and can be used to interact with objects in the background or can be used with other items in the inventory. In fact, I think almost every game after DOTT does that. The only reason why I guess I saw that it was missing is the fact that I have been modeling my SCUMM system around DOTT. It's not a big deal if yours has it or not, I just wanted you to know  :)

A few of the things I have noticed:

1) When clicking on an inventory item in SCUMM games, the inventory item becomes a cursor to be used on something.

2) Give function uses the same item in the buffer when clicking on GIVE continuously. You also have to click USE before the give function seems to work.

Personally, on my SCUMM system, I have gotten everything to work except the SAVE/LOAD and the predefined functions with the Right mouse button.

Hope this helps!

I had worked on such a "patch" a long time ago. I was able to get a whole LEC interface to work correctly. The interface itself was styled like DOTT as far as the graphics were concerned. I decided to look it over and revamp certain parts of it and try to make the script cleaner. I will keep you posted, because I plan on releasing it soon once I streamline it and add documentation.

Here is the updated MISC Url.

It might take a while to load because it has alot of pictures and it's on a sort of a slow server.
