Add names to the love letter and give it to the journalist. In return, he'll write about Guybrush, too.

Hope this helps...I'm not sure where exactly you may be stuck, so try the first hints first.

I've played through the game, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This game, and Daniele's other games, for that matter, must be taken for what they are: fan games. That basically means that if you for some reason haven't played the original Monkey Island yet, you ought to do so first. This is not a remake, and is not aimed at purists who want the same game in polished form. The game will be best enjoyed by the people who have played the original and can appreciate the in-jokes, references and variations put into play. The game doesn't try to meet Lucasarts standards of having responses to every possible interaction, in fact, most possible interactions aren't implemented. (But there are more interactions in this one than in earlier games of his I've played.) Graphics and music are "borrowed" and look and sound good, as expected.

The game offers the same basic structure as the original game, but the solutions to the tasks given are new. The difficulty level is just right, I think. By some trial and error, you should be able to make progress. The characters are still the funny people we know from the original games, and the game had me smiling throughout. I quite like the humour of Daniele's crossovers and guest appearances from other games - I guess that could be a drawback for some players, but not me. Recommended if nothing of what I've written puts you off.  (nod)

Hi, I'm stuck and I need help getting into the RV...
Spoiler
I know that the key is in the seagull's nest and I've tried every verb and item I have on it and nothing. I think I might be missing something.
I've already been in the secret room and have the 2nd part of the research, but I haven't got the other one in the bank yet. Thanks!

Been a while now, so I'm not sure if I remember this. But have you tried:

Ahhh...looking forward to Fernewelten's entry.

I took a look at the competition, and so far, there's been two games (an endless runner and something else completely wrong) that were kicked out right away.
The submissions at this time include several in-development entries that aren't playable, and I have hopes that Ancient Island, Escape from Darkstein and Escape from Crapital may turn out to be adventure games.

Of the others, Little City, Exit 1.0 and Super Cap Boy seems to be crap games made by kids. They don't work properly, are bad jokes or at the very least not even close to being adventure games. Hapnotik, Stab Em and Escape from Ignorance may be all right, I don't know. But from the videos and screenshots it's very clear they are an action game, a sneaking game and a platformer, and thus have no place in this jam.

I hope the real adventures come in when the deadline approaches.

Okay, this one could maybe be easier. I'm watching it currently with my wife.

Yes, I liked it a lot. It's a Swedish series that starts out like a crime show, then takes turns towards the supernatural. Recommended if that description doesn't put you off.  ;)

I'll think of something.

Some old games lack download links now:

Ultimerr is at https://archive.org/details/ultimerr
Lassi Quest 1 Original is at https://archive.org/details/lassi-quest-2003-05-25 and https://archive.org/details/lassi-quest (I’m not sure which version matches the one in the database)
Lassi Quest 2 Teaser Demo is at https://archive.org/details/lassi-quest-2-demo
Lassi & Roger: Venture a Bit is at https://archive.org/details/lassi-and-roger-venture-a-bit

The two last examples remind me of Manhunter: New York by Sierra, even though I can't remember scenes exactly like that.

Thanks, I guess. I had hoped lowering the bar could lead to someone else turning in some half-made product/demo/proof-of-concept...I'd imagine Wham!'s climbing minigame is probably a better game than this one.

Anyway, if anyone who actually have played my small entry have any feedback, I'll take it happily. I'm aiming for two cups, but will accept one, too.  (laugh)

What is the name of the horse that nearly became a consul and who planned this rather unusual promotion in Ancient Rome? (This one should be a bit easier.)

I can't remember the name of the horse, but this was one of the insane emperors' doing. If I recall correctly, it was Caligula. (Other candidates would be Heligobalus or Nero.)

I'll release the training game, then.

Download link: https://heltenjon.itch.io/scales-training-game

Scales Training Game is what it says, a game made for checking out if I could make AGS do what I had planned. Unfortunately, I didn't find the time to make the "real" game. I don't know if what's in this game can be categorized as puzzles or not; it's certainly very easy.

This game is about two kids who have built different-sized houses in the livingroom out of chairs and blankets. But have any of them scaled it right?

Graphics made by the photofunny.net free web page.

Known issues: I made a mess of two hotspots on top of each other to the left on the first screen. They can safely be ignored. Savegame not implemented, but the game is so short you won't need it. And the quit game GUI doesn't quite match the placement of the words.

The game I had planned to do would have had a household of six each having different scale-related problems and a bit more task juggling required to proceed.

I actually tried to make a game this month, but didn't get enough time. But I did make a short training game to see if I managed to make it work. I'll see if I maybe can make a workable build of it. It's not really up to the usual standards - training game is about right. No coder me.
