Is there any chance of someone having this one available, too?

While not as good as Daniele82's later fan games (of course), it's still a fun snack sized shortie.  ;-D

While not a rogue-like game, Kill Yourself does meet two of those criteria, but not the random design.

Unfortunately, the links doesn't work anymore. Do you still have the game, Daniele82? It would be fun if you uploaded this and The Caponians for us unfortunates late to the party.  :(

This thread has a great post about how Eri0o made I rented a boat.

Also, if you follow the Mags threads, the members will frequently report of their progress and their thought processes.

Local worry: In schools during the Covid-19 pandemic - keep a meter or two of distance. On school buses - sit right next to each other.
As we all know, you can't get infected when you're sitting down.  (laugh)
And sitting ducks advance in the queue for getting a shot.  :P (laugh)

I need a hint about the

combination for the safe.I figure it has something to do with the painting but I couldn't figure it out.

In this case,
Spoiler
you need to find the information outside the game. I think I googled it and found the year corresponding to the code.

Falcon City has Hakka-Chinese listed as one of the available languages.

Perhaps this thread may be of interest?

King Arthur and the Lady of the Lake, perhaps? Although I doubt either are historical figures...

This one was too easy, I guess. That's absolutely correct!

The title was Pharaoh regardless of the gender, and the royal garb included a fake beard. She established trade routes and was the first to build a tomb in the Valley of Kings, among other things. After her death, someone (it's unclear who) tried to erase her name and image from the lineage of Kings, but they left enough that historians eventually discovered that she had reigned. She wasn't the first or the only female Pharaoh, but probably the most successful. (But not as famous as Cleopatra.)

Over to Gilbert.

What is the perhaps most surprising thing about the great Pharaoh Hatshepsut, who reigned for more than 20 years in Ancient Egypt?

Ah, didn't see the question. Isn't this Bertha von Suttner? (And we're not supposed to google these things, are we? Takes the fun out of it a bit.)

About descriptions: I don't want to heavily load the players with walls of text from the start. I want to give time to get used to game.

What I meant is that some objects don't have a response to "look" at all. How about making a standard response that sounds a bit communistic, like "That seems to adhere to party standards"? Beats "I see nothing special".  ;) Some of the best humour in the demo is in the descriptions, I think. I liked the books, the table, the cupboard  and the radar a lot. Best of luck!

The demo was funny, I just wish more descriptions were implemented when examining things in the demo. The hero is likable and witty, and the story...you know this is not going to work out how it is planned.  (laugh)

In the finished version, please let the player talk to Gorbachev!  (laugh)

There is a bug: I went through the first door (back to my apartment), but ended up in the space ship. Both doors lead there.

More of an Easter egg (but maybe not intended:
Spoiler
After finishing the demo, when I get the choice of quitting or playing, if I select to keep playing, the game tries to restart, but the character is invisible. So when I click on the door, we arrive in the space ship. And there the hero lies sleeping on the sofa.

The word I thought when watching the video was "dreamlike", and then I saw the title afterwards and realized it fit pretty good.  :-D I'm curious about how the gameplay will turn out. Will this be mostly trial and error or be possible to figure out, I wonder. The description reminds me a bit of alchemy games, and I like those. Interesting concept!

Congrats anyway, Slasher. Your game is a good 'un and a worthy winner, competition or not. ;-D

Wow! It must have taken ages to prepare?

We did a small scale version of a similar idea for my middle daughter's birthday last year. We divided the guests into groups and sent them to stations in the house where they had to do puzzles (labyrinth, quiz, crossword etc. (all on paper)) and report back to base to be sent to the next station. They ended up where the candy was stashed. But that was nowhere so awesome as this!  (nod)
