If you use the "Search Forums" banner instead of typing in the square in the corner, you should find the options you ask about.

QuoteThis one ought to be in the Black Stories thread. I know it from before, so I won't participate in guessing.
I never read this thread, sorry.
After doing it, I agree that it's definitely more suited to its tone and format.

Let's give it up then.

I meant no critique, only suggest posting it there for more replies. The riddle is a good one.

I'm looking forward to seeing the final version. I've spent some hours testing this game during earlier stages with and without my kids, so of course I'm biased, but I'll still say that this is a very impressive full length family friendly game, especially considering this is the author's first release.

And if you have no kids around to play the game with, just channel your inner child and give it a go regardless.  :-D

Congrats on the release!

How about Three little pigs or Kitten Catastrophy? I'd say BYO-Hero, but ToeKnee hasn't released it yet (perhaps waiting for my kids to give the Beta another go first).
AT last - It is OUT NOW HeltenJon!!
The FULL and FREE Point-and-click Adventure game for Parents and kids!

Ok, then I say BYO-Hero! I've been test driving this game with my kids aged 6-11, and they really liked this.

Well, I guess you guys aren’t my target audience either.

Hopefully, I’ll get a better response over on Mumsnet.

You know, if Snarky had found it funnier, he would have had to move it over to the funny pics thread.  :P

I liked the reference to the Sting song, but didn't know the Stan slang term. Shows my age, probably.

Aw, super cute! Rif is so expressive for low-res animations, very well done!  I got so excited at the end, then remembered the title and wished there was more! :)
Thanks, PlayPretend! Well, there'll be a little bit more content soon, I'm still on schedule to release the planned update in a couple of weeks.
The fishing mini game looks very good! My son was very interested in the fishing part, so I guess we'll be revisiting this little world together.

QuoteI am however doubtful that I'll have the time or ideas to expand it into something bigger than a prelude in the foreseeable future, but I might return to this project in a year or two, so we'll see.

The (not?) obvious way to follow up this great title probably would be to make "Interlude and/or Postlude to an adventure". I think the idea of making a game out of the preparations is very good, making the game stand on its own quite nicely.

The local newspapers are writing about this trailer today. It looks like a mountain from my area, Kinnaklova, is digitized into the landscape of Caladan two places in the trailer. (It looks like a mountain cleft in two. Easily found by Google if someone's curious.)  :-D

Edit: It's at 0:34 and 1.02.

Did they do magic? One went into a box in one end of the room, and the other appeared somewhere else?

I got a promotion at work which is great because it means twice the hours and twice the wonga, but unfortunately it seriously cuts down my free time. I'll still try to complete my entry but it may be much more simple than I initially intended.

Dude, that isn't a promotion. You got cloned.

Had both brothers written in the journal?

Did her father and uncle have a pet named Gwen/Gwendolyn?
Did her father and uncle know a song about someone called Gwen/Gwendolyn?

This looks like a fun film. Looking forward to watching it. It's a bit early to tell whether it will be good from watching the trailer.

This is definitely my favourite corner of the Internet.

And the cowziest!!! Oops, I meant the coziest!

Just when you thought it couldn't get any udder.
#1938
I believe Stupot's got it this time, but in case he's wrong:

Did the journal mention something in the back yard or garden?
Did Gwen ask her uncle about something outside (like a favourite spot when they were kids, or where they buried a time capsule or similar)?
Did Gwen use the back door?
Did Gwen go out to fly the flag at half-mast, leaving the door unlocked for when she was going to take it down again?

Hi

I have made a good start..

With this game I did the end first and then the beginning..

Now i'm filling in the middle  (laugh)

This makes so much more sense after having played the game!

Hey folks!

I am offering my service as an unpaid translator (German <-> English) as I want to improve.
My only project I have worked on so far is a german translation for the game "Dead Cells" on steam, so I have a little bit of experience.
Feel free to contact me via PM or mail if you need your game localized in german or english.

Thank you!

Hint hint...there are people out there who maybe could get in touch.  ;)
