AGS Games in Production / Re: Goblin's Journey

That's great! Are there more songs from this hob-noblin ensemble in the game? That dragon looks big! I guess he's got a huge treasure to steal.  :-D

I found it with Google, but I consider that cheating, so I won't post an answer. Apparently the High Tollah pictured in the last screenshot was a jab at the ayatollah regime then taking power in Iran.

Looks like you're making a good foundation here. Interesting project!

Hello, Velocirection, and welcome to the forums! Looking forward to seeing your in production thread. I'm sure there are lots of AGS users like you out there, tinkering on their own. If our friendly community can help in any way, be sure we will!  (nod)

I can see that. Sorry, but this discussion seems pointless.

I'm following it. Niemann's a known cheat. The main problem seems to be that a jury or judge may not understand the evidence. Analyzing his matches has shown an unbelievable amount of perfect matches or moves compared to Stockfish, much higher than Carlsen. That would be believable if he was the best player in the world, but he's not. He's probably a good player in his own right, but his matches aren't at a consistent level of skill. Carlsen famously played him at the beach and wiped the floor with him. Of course Carlsen would  see that the player doesn't have the skill to pull off what he did in the much discussed match.

Another discussion is that I think it's ridiculous for any US court to claim jurisdiction in such a case, especially against non-US citizens. But we'll see if it goes that far. They may dismiss it.

I remember The Mousetrap from a London visit back in 1988. I liked it a lot at the time, but of course I was young then, and the actors very good, delivering the humour brilliantly, while the play itself felt like a game with the audience. Can you guess who the killer is? I remember the cast came out and spoke to the audience after some rounds of applause, telling us to please keep the murderer's identity a secret, in order not to spoil the play for future audiences.

I watched it later with amateurs in my home village, in a Norwegian version, which was okay, but nowhere near the London version for me. My friends rather liked it anyway.

I think the Mousetrap must be seen for what it is, a guessing-game with the audience. As always, having good actors will make such a play work. I still remember the body language of the London troupe, giving clues and/or false leads not directly conveyed in the dialogue.

I don't really think it will make a good movie. Even though I liked Hitchcock's Rope, as one of few (?), I think it's a better suit for the stage.

If you're not logged in, the poll shows, but without any buttons for voting. It's just the white blocks for now, changed to show the result after the voting ends. You can view a finished result whether logged in or not.

Quote from: xboxown on Sun 23/10/2022 04:47:18Hello,

I need help in the game. I am stuck. I am unable to leave the place at the beginning of the game. It says the aulixary is low but I don't know how to charge it. Can anyone help me?

I think you'll find the answer in this thread: https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/hints-tips/doc-apocalypse-55720/msg636579491/#msg636579491

I think people aren't leaving comments because there isn't new stuff that's easily commentable (if that's a word). It looks good in the initial screenshots, and sounds nice with more tunes and translations, but without seeing or hearing it, I for one don't know what new to say. But I am looking forward to the game. There could be more Clock Towers in the world.  (nod)

Perhaps the screenshots are on your social pages, but I generally won't follow those links. And if I did, it would be more natural to comment or like where the screenshot was posted.

Congratulations, Lorenzo! I'm especially pleased to see that you beat the AI at graphics! This was a well deserved win, not totally unexpected after playing the the games, even though there were many good ones in this jam.
