I think it looks more as a different style than as an improvement....
I don think the "deluxe" version looks graphically superior, besides the character sprite from the last BJ.

I think you should follow Mordalles advice, and find a "professional" artist because I don't think is worthy to make a new version if the changes are not substantial.

It's great for me (living in Argentina) to know is going to be free, I don't think you would have sent me a copy from German or USA  even if I bought it.

You're making a professional game, I hope the story and gameplay is as good as anything else!

that could be because you're using straight lines for the horizon and the lava..
You can also try to make the lava irregular near the island edge..

Great work! It looks really professionall. But is that only such a little picture or exists a greater version of this? The white background around this picture is a little bit unlucky. A black background is much better.

The main character is just great..and the story is very funny xD
