Just did the light puzzle again and got it in one go after reading your post! You must have been an inspiration 

You're right - it was actually pretty short

At the lights puzzle in the cave, I'm having trouble getting last part of it.

I'm afraid the order of actions started to drive me mad and I opted to not complete the game. Which is a shame as there are enjoyable elements to it. I must have restarted playing from the start about 4 times trying to get certain things to happen.
