General Discussion / Re:War unleashed...
Thu 20/03/2003 08:06:31
Geez... I will never support any war, at any cause.
War isn't exactly the right solution IMO.

I love being signed up... :)
I think.... I can make it... if anyone cares to drive to the border, and pick me up ;)

Hey, come on people.... Sign up, you hear me!??
We've almost reached 20, so c'mon!

--- edit ---
Haven't 2ma2 and Pessi signed up yet!?!
W00t?!

No. If you right click on the launcher, and choose properties, you can see which program they've made it with. I don't remember the name. I use Delphi. We just need some programming experience.

#565
You forgot... me! Mid of norway... :(
#566
I hope to come, so don't remove me from the list just yet.
#567

#568

So Daniel...
The reason for giving it away, is among Yahtzee's comment?
Geez... Don't listen to him. You're doing a great job with it.

Congrats anyway K!

DGMacPhee:  "Mods, I'm sorry, you just don't fit all the requirements."

Mods: "Why?  What was I lacking?"

DGMacPhee: "You're just not, well, not what we're looking for.  It takes a kind of persona..."

Mods:  "You must tell me!  How could I change?"

DGMacPhee: "You're just not drunk enough... there, I said it... Are you happy?" <DGMacPhee runs crying from the room>

Mods:  (now screaming)  "I can change!  I can drink!"

Lol! :D

Just wanted to let you know that the latest link, farwards you to the previous version. Here's the real url: http://koti.mbnet.fi/dima/scripteditor/ScriptEditor_v1.6.zip

Oh... yes... and I wanted to know if it's still being worked on :)
#573
Yeah, it'll be quite useful to newbies, how to make their way through AGS. :)
I'm hoping on more advanced tutorials though ;)
#574
OooOoooOoh.... You've fixed the sprites! :D
Now I'm looking farward to it!
#575
I've found a bug in AGS, if we use an external editor, after we've done the script and close the program -- the dialog boxes shows, but not stuck. It seems like AGS is behaving like this with all the external editors... Weird.
#576
Sorry, I haven't checked the memo yet.
I've found a bug in AGS, if we use an external editor, the dialog boxes shows, but not ShowModal(); or something familiar (At least that's the command in Delphi)
#577
Now..... I'm just gonna love this great tool! :D
I'll abandon the built-in AGS editor... Sorry Chris :)

---- edit ----
First time I start the editor, all the menues are a bit slow... Can you fix it?

--- edit2 ---
Could you also add a menu, if we rightclick in the editor window?

Hello everyone,
as you can see, we're still looking for voice actors for Roger Foodbelly.
Roger Foodbelly will be a talkie adventure game, and commercial in other words. If you're a voice actor you can send us a sample of your voice in mp3 or OGG to this adress: jannar85@yahoo.no

Only serious applicants please!
And thanks for spending the time reading this job application.
You'll get paid for your work when the game is out, and recording will begin when the game script is complete.

We've got room for two more. And we highly need an female voice actor, since there will be female elfes, and other female creatures and humans in the game.

---- edit ----
We currently have two professional voice actors on our staff, which've worked on other commercial titles.

Wow! Quite impressive!
The first thing I liked was a reply to all interactions... It's not often we get to see that in a indie adventure game! That was a major plus to your game.

Then, the menu was really cool... I liked the design of it.
Then, when I walked into the bar... I was amazed by the football match, really, really, really good to see the guests cheer when someone got a goal. hehe... That was also a major plus in your game. :)

Plus, I also loved the discussion between those guys at the pub... Really, really, interesting. :D

All the dialogues is great, and I really look farward to the final game.
Great stuff! I would have bought it if you were selling it, hehe, a kick arse game! :D
