I just think protesting a torch is a damned silly thing in the greater scope of things.

Are people protesting for other's liberation really that shallow? If so, it's just as damned silly to care for an earthquake you didn't even feel.

I must say episode 6 is the best like the galactic war episodes more than the we're only 3d ones.
What?

Yes, many games are compressed with rar or lz7. You can use winrar.

When I think of Star Wars I always think of the original 3 movies. That is the base. All other movies, comic books and video games are accessories: They can make the Star Wars realm look better but also worse. The latter was certanly the case with the new movies.
This new project does have potential since episode 3 was pretty much 3D rendered anyway (Episode 3-D). They can make a gazilion more SW movies this way, but does the public really need that...

Was Hayden Christensen's performance better in Jumper, though? He's also cast as the lead role in Neuromancer. I guess he's stuck in those sci-fi pulp movies.

THIS JUST IN:

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (in 3D animated)

The whore (freudian slip?) whole Star Wars thing is becoming one big joke to me.

Nice, Chris. Though I hope you won't mind me sticking to good old 2.62 for now.

Don't forget AGS also supports mod and stm music format. The files are bigger than midi but way smaller than mp3.
The best way of getting somebody to do your music is to make a demo of the game and then ask people. This gets people more involved and motivated.

As for file size: I have an unfinished game with 25 background (that's a medium length game!) and loads of sprites and animations. Uncompressed, the game is 6 mb (compressed 2 mb), though the game is in 320x200 res.
You shouldn't worry about size unless you use 800x600 res, mp3 music, voice and/or videos. Look at Charlie Foxtrot; big game in 640x400 res but only 5 mb compressed.

Congrats Victor.
Say, could you explain how they examin the divers test.

Bud Spencer remembers an old Iralian way to fix electric apliences: kicking it. He limps in the air and lands with both feel flat on the flood. That should do the trick.

I do think that humous is funny best when it's about a subject or connection that people never thought of before. That's the unrpedictable and spontanious part, however writing and refining doesn't have to be that spontanious.
I don't think the things I say are funny since I came up with it and therefor are not spontanious but predicted. After all, I had the thought and came up with the way to describe it. So by the time I tell it, it's like somebody told me the joke 3 times over. What is funny is a positive reaction of people, since that I can't predict.

Why would you need to use it when not logged in?

Visitors might want to find a hint in the hintip board for a game they randomly downloaded.
Also lurkers and non-regular members that don't check the forum every day might want to read new posts on a topic they were intrested in when they last visited.
That's what I did before passing the AGS test.

Puzzle Craft
If you sit at your desk trying to make up puzzles, the chances are nothing comes to mind.
Solution 1: Always carry a notepad and write down ideas whenever one pops up.
Solution 2: Play adventure games. Better yet, watch adventure games. Go to places like: http://www.adventure-speedruns.com/index.php, http://recordedamigagames.ath.cx/modules/news2/ and http://www.youtube.com/user/ADVRipper4
Write down what you think is original and write down how you would improve puzzles that you don't like.
Solution 3: Can't think of more puzzles? Make the game smaller. Release a sequel once you have enough material.

Wow, that's one heck of a herculean task you took upon.

Ultima Online was released over a decade ago, but if they did a MMO episode back then not a lot of people would get the joke. The Simpsons has always tried to be the centerpoint of mainstream culture. That's it's strength AND weakness.
I don't think the Simpsons changed at all. The characters became arctypes of themselfs as all characters of long running series do. The jokes went from sit-com standard to slapstick. Some jokes might be a social commentary but that's purely coincidental, the intention is NEVER to wake America up.

I still like the Simpsons as a cartoon, but it no longer is god of t.v.

Oh and if the writers change because the old ones aren't funny anymore then the serie is in big trouble.

I got around to see it.
The movie is bit low budget especially compared to Land. It lacks hordes of zombies and gore which is mandatory for a zombie flick. They visit many locations, and that's what this movie is; a collection of short events. Kind of like a road movie.
I liked it myself, but I can empathise why many people don't/won't.

Again, go read The Walking Dead.

More frames doesn't mean that the animation automaticly looks more natural and smooth. The first Super Mario Bros. had a walk cycle of 2 frames... So 2 is enough.

Unfortunately, I'm sure you can find horror stories from most countries in the world. I'm pretty sure that nowhere has a monopoly on evil.
Not really my point.
However, whenever the topic rises, my german housemates unanimous mention they are not very fond of Austria.
I myself can't even remember the last time I was in Austia, so I can't judge them, but I'm not planning to ever go there.
