Maintenance? That's just a fancy description of copying and replacing a hard drive and blowing the dust off the ventilator with an air compressor. That doesn't take 5 days, sir.

Well I think we all need a few days off from your Sig, Jet, otherwise we'll all go blind...  ;D
Then stop abusing yourself, you dandy.

Cottage!
I don't think the locals will like it if we go into bohemian rhapsody mode at 2 o'clock at night.

AkiraaaA! CanedaaA! TetsuoooO!

Meh, I don't think a live action version would add anything better to the animated movie.
Why not read the manga?

For the 5das type of sprites, you might want to check out reality on the norm. Yathzee created ron so the sprite style shouldn't be far off from his style, although crude compared with 5das and his later games.

I think there is also a King's Quest Remake background tutorial floating around. The backgrounds a simiar to that of atotk.

so is anyone gonna have a go at making their own lowbudget zombie short?
'cause I sure am!

back in filmschool I noticed creativity peaked when everybody brainstormed about each other's projects, not as collaborators, more like colleagues...

I'm not good at explaining these things :P
anyway, if other people gonna make zombie shorts maybe we should open a different thread where we can C&C eachother!

good idea, no?

edit:
we could call it the thread of the dead :P

Hmm, how about we have an AGS film competition. Doesn't have to be zombies or horror. We could call it Film Something.

I didn't know that Lif was a lizard.
I thought he was human and that he moved to a remote location (where there are lots of lizards and not many people) so he doesn't have to talk to anyone.

Nope, it WAS Supergrass http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTygXj_8jbc&feature=related
Behold and tremble. (There are no censured screens in it, but I think I mixed up my memory with a cartoon episode, as that happend before)
Finding this video again sure restores a few sanity points. Maybe I even sleep normal again.

Edit: It seems that there is a censured version too, which has the scary bits replaced with... unions.

I say go to court if only to gain an experience.

So Lif is a loner and an ass.
The conversation is a bit boring, though. Not really worth remembering.
And women have their own basketball league.

No, I wouldn't mix up those band's with something like Supergrass. Though I must compliment your choise of music.

Some more hints: The video is in colour, it's a street row of houses attached to eachother, the cesured screen was done on purpose to a point that it became silly. Also there wasn't any yelling of lyrics in it, and the female scream happened only in the chorus.

Is there an online piano player that lets me record and save a song in some way so other people can listen to it?

The song I'm looking for was performed by a brit-pop band. To be honest, I'm looking for the video clip for this song.

It circled on MTV around the same time (a bit after?) as Pumping On Your Stereo by Supergrass. I initially though it was by Supergrass because the band members looked similar, but i guess pale skin and greasy black hair does that. My search on Youtube for the clip came up empty, so did the titles in their discografie.
The title had "ghost" or something similar in it. I could be way off.

I don't remember any of the lyrics appart from the chorus that was: Ai ai ai ai aiaiai!
A google search for lyrics turned up empty too.
There was a scream of a woman mixed in as well, but the song itself was not very screamy.

The video was like scenes from an italian horror movie. It featured a street in a typical english working class neighborhood. People would enter a house and horrific things would happen. Blood pumping through the walls, ect. The band plays filmed through weird angle camera shots. I think there was a bath tub with blood in it.
But the most recognizeble part was that later on they used a black sceen with the words CENSOR or SCENE MISSING on it a lot.

The video really stuck to me, and I still think of it when films have scenes cut out to "protect" us. I want to know if it's still worth remembering.

Please help me because it's driving me bonkers.

Yes, because going off topic on the forums is a sin. You don't want to know what Kevin Spacey will do to you.

There are waaaay too many stories about violence. Nothing wrong with that, but the stories seem so forced. "READ ME BECAUSE THERE IS A SHOTGUN IN MY STORY! READ ME!!!"

My vote in random order.

And the WBC disgusts and scares me at the same time.  Those people have a lot of nerve calling themselves Christian.

hmm, I think there is something "fishy" going on here. Too provocative.

I think the zombie evolving thing is ment as the place of zombie monsters in today's film.
In the old days, a woman fainted when she saw the monster, like Stoker's Dracula (or hugo house of horrors 2 (crap game)). That made perfect sence to the audience. In the 70's, women run away histerical. And today we expect the women to go toe to toe with the monsters.
Old skool zombie are just not scaring them as they use to, but the fast boys do.

I would like to plug a comic book now.
The Walking Dead, which is like the romero zombie film style but more and there for better.
Thank you.
