I just happen to like ribbons.

Sorry, I don't speak Dutch. Does that mean you're interested in attending ???

Nay, I don't have any fond memories of France, last time not excluded, so I'll give up my potential seat to someone new. Seems like mittens is already overbooked, anyway.

She staggers out of the nightclub with her girlfriends. She is dressed well, but the drunk giggle and curly straw behind her ear makes her look easy.
"Hey, I know you!" she yells at a guy. Direct hit, cupid. Morning after pills in her purse.
We walk on. They will never know what we have.

General Discussion / Diary of the Dead

George Romero is filming a new zombie movie, Diary of the Dead, which is filmed from the first person perspective (like Cloverfield and a gazillion clones before that).

Anyway, for those creative minds with a camera, you can send in a short horror movie and it might apear on the DVD.

And apparently he's 39...

Nostradamus, sir, I do not know what you want to convey so I can't comment on your reply. I do want to know if it was targeted towards me, the forum users or to the general public.

I think Tunguska and Runaway are Broken Sword clones and I (and nobody else) will now explain why.

Characters: all characters have curiosity as their main character trait and motivation. They don't have to get involved but choose to do so, and it's only later on when they are involved to deeply that they can no longer get out. In Dreamfall it's the destiny of the characters. In Kings Quest it's their noble heritage. In Money Island it's Guybrush romantic idea of what a pirate would do.

Story: The genre of both 3 game is detective/conspiracy with elements of historic fiction set in the modern world. Dreamfall is an epic adventure set in fantasy and sci-fi worlds.

Locations: All 3 games feature many different locations around the world. This is generally the charm of the games.
To my dismay the characters travel great distances to follow a lead only to be blocked by a grumpy npc. which grinds the game to a complete halt.

Gameplay: In most cases the goal to the puzzle is already known; they come to a location to find a person or a paper that leads to a new location. However, the characters have to formulate the question correctly in order to get to the obvious solution (i.e. solve it how the developers wrote it). This is true to most adventure games, but they sometimes drop you into a situation where the goal is not known.

Secret Files: Tunguska and Runaway 2. though they are both broken sword clones.
I have played Tunguska and it's a great game but it's definitely NOT an Broken Sword clone.
Seems to me I'm not the only one who thinks so. (note that I came to this conclusion before I read the review)

And our dear friend Minime never said anything about playing first person view adventure games, which means ...[dramatic pause]... it was YOU who stole miss Johnson's cookie jar!

Death Note bored me because all the plot twists and big revelations became useless after every 2 episdes, as Radiant pointed out already.

I liked this one a lot, but since I'm quite a stranger to anime, I'm wondering if there are any other anime series like this? What I have in mind is somewhat dark themed and with a lot of plot twists.
Boogiepop Phantom, but remove any sharp object in your vicinity. Maybe Blood+, Helsing, Soul Reaper and Neon Genesis Evangelion (angel and vampire themes are not for me, though).
Also Serial Experiment Lain.

Baccano!, Ghost Hunt and Denno Coil are the 3 best series I've seen recently. I'm sure they will be licensed soon.

Come on, everybody knows that the best song EVER is Toxic by Britney Spears.

Cosplay, hmm.

Happy new year, folks.
It wasn't all good, but at least it was consistant.
I give it a 7 on the scale of Awesomeness.

What are your thought?

I think you're showing that list to repend for your make-believe sins.
I think you're an attention seeking wining teenager who forces an image on people and craves their acceptance.
I think praying after jizzing is more pethetic that 23 suicide attempts (you must have it to an art by now), and I suggest jumping off a tower head first for your upcomming "cry for help".

jk
I doubt Bush jr has shit on his eggs and he did way more fucked up shit than you.

The Trilby Quadrilogy 1 - 4

I have to play all 4 at the same time? That's impossible. I don't even have four computers that can run them.

Ouch, Farl. Calling someone boring is uncalled for, bro.

Sorry if I called for a missunderstanding, but when I typed "jumping from an skycrapper" I was not refering as a jump provoqued by a bad trip after eating mushrooms...

So you didn't refer to this part in the above linked article? My bad.
QuoteThe government has cracked down on hard drugs and tightened controls on marijuana. It was expected to do the same with mushrooms after the death of 17-year-old Gaelle Caroff, who had suffered from psychological problems before her death in March. She jumped from a building after eating psychedelic mushrooms while on a school visit.

But let us not forget what this is all about: Bloody politics.
