Makes me think about this.

Low-budget as in "freeware"?

Larry Vales vs. Alexander Zale!
Larry wins, because he got sideburns. I don't know how, but HE GOT SIDEBURNS! TWO OF THEM!

Wouldn't be cool to play a game where you can walk around and kill stuff? I'd play that game.

It's already a hassle making something original.
Making a parody game, I get tired thinking about making -zzzzzzzzzz-.

Trilby Vs Ben Jordan - whoever wins, we lose.

I'm going. I'm planning to stay a few weeks in North America this summer.
I'll send some money when I'll get some international transaction forms. PM you later about that.

PS: Lending my body for medical tests was the best idea I ever had.

Didn't someone post about this in gen-gen some time ago?

General Discussion / Re: Blood donors?

I give a lot of blood, but it usually doesn't end up in someone's body.
Does that gig pay any dough?

Not every game that is produced will be released; Loom 2, Full Throttle 2, Hopkins F.B.I. 2, Leisure Suit Larry 8 and Space Quest 7 are all on "permanent hold". That's just the adventure games that I can think of right now.
If we have to morn about every game that is cancelled, we won't have any time to play the games that ARE released.

I wonder why he has a following.
Because he communicates with his audience. He toured through the usa as a guest speaker at universities. He's a fan pleaser.
He isn't a very good director, he can't do much except conversations (and lately even those are bad donkey sex jokes).
Anyway, if you're famous and give normal people attention, they'll become fans, no matter if your latest movies suck.

Are you sure you mean episode 1?
I did a speedrun for episode 1. You could watch it.

What a great week to get fired.
I'll be a pharmaceutical test subject in january (hey, it's better than turning tricks), so I get some big bread afterwards.
If I squat a building (which isn't technically illegal in Netherland, just a hassle) instead of renting a â,¬300,- a month closet, I should be able to live like a prince till summer and still have â,¬600 to spare on a trip to Canada.
But that's AFTER january.

I don't know if this is for an adventure game, but if it is, isn't 10 acts too much? Not even commecial games have 10 acts.

I can't say much about the story since it's only a summery of the first chapter(?), so I don't know if the main character is a hetero american hero/rebelious teenager, but saving the world(i.e. america) or die sounds forced and unamerican in eighter case.
But like I said, I don't know the story.
