I'm liking the game a lot so far!

To get from your second class suite to your first class suite, you must

first gain, then remit your Star Alliance rewards points

On that point…
Spoiler
How do you gain points? I found the card, but it has 0 points. I can't figure out how to get any.

And on the second-floor room:

Is it possible to enter the bathroom, or is the open door a red herring?

Thanks!

I tried to download the demo from the AGS Games page, but the link takes me to a website where I only have an option to buy the game. It looks interesting, but since your recent games are commercial and I didn't really like .J.Gun and Sepheret island, I'm a bit wary of buying it as is.

Having some trouble here, I can't keep the water from blasting me against the glass.
Spoiler

I've put the two blocks of wood and hammered them in place, but after a while they chip and give in anyway.

I've shutdown the valve inside "the floor" and turned off the electricity from the fusebox. I've gotten the radio to work, but the rescue team doesn't arrive.

Huh. Ok. I can't seem to replicate that.

Spoiler

When you shoot the barrel, the cloud of gas appears above it and the guy covers his face, and you can't click on him? Or do those things not happen?

Maybe this helps:

I reloaded a previous game and this time it worked. What I did differently the first time was that I entered the shootout, and then I had to leave to pick up the penetration ammo and come back. Maybe that triggered the bug.

Definitely a bug, then:
Spoiler

The cloud of gas never appears and the guy doesn't cover his face, but the game shows a text description of that.

Hmmm, I don't think thats a bug; theres two ways past that; one is time-sensitive so you can't do it anymore, the other you can still do.

I mean, there >might< be a bug but I can't reproduce it. Here's what to do if you don't ming spoilers for a single puzzle:

Spoiler

If you shoot the barrel you have a very short time to hit the guy. You might want to reload and try it from an earlier save. But you can also give your pistol to Dr. Landri (she says something about "I don't have a weapon") at which point she'll start trying to shoot the guy and distract him. You can then take him out with the rifle from the mercs.
[close]

If you do try let me know how it goes, if only to be sure weather its a bug or not.

I have tried the first option many times at different game speeds. I don't think I could click faster, and the mouse is already almost over the guy, so I'm definitely not wasting much time.

I'll try the other approach, thanks.

Very interesting so far, I really like the backdrop to the story.

However, I got version 1.01 of the game. I'm stuck at some point, but it looks like a bug (or a missing hint):
Spoiler

I'm at the shootout with the guy in the trenchcoat after the room with the scientist and the force field. I've shot the gas barrel with the penetrating ammo, and the scientist tells me to shoot him quickly while his distracted. No matter what I try, he always avoids the shot and I'm told to distract him...

This is a good game. If you liked Earl Bobby's previous adventure when he was looking for his balls, you're in for a treat. If you haven't played it, then what are you waiting for, silly? Le Woltaire simply has the best camera work in any AGS game I've played, free or commercial. You know you've been waiting for a good, entertaining game for a couple months now, so why wait any longer?

Too lazy to pay for the game before playing it? Maybe you'd rather steal it and pay for it later? Hm... just don't tell anyone, or maybe next time Earl Bobby will be looking for you.

Disclaimer: I helped translate and test the game (but I get no money from its sales).

Can you send me a Walkthrough from this nice game for a WT website !

Peter, we heard you the first 10 times. Please give us some peace already.

If you are playing the game and got stuck, then feel free to ask for help getting through that part. If you tell us what language you speak, since you said you're not comfortable with English, maybe somebody who knows that language will be able to help you.

It seems I'm stuck slightly earlier than everybody else who posted, so the posts so far don't help me much. Any help would be appreciated, but please don't be too subtle, since I'm getting tired of walking around aimlessly:
Spoiler

I've seen references to some keys, perhaps found near a sculpture of a sphere. I couldn't find either; the closest thing was the sculpture at the park, which the character says feels like eggshell, but I couldn't find any keys there. I've traveled to '74 and '82, I've been to the island, and I can't find anything else to do. I still haven't made it to the cellar, which I presume is my next step.

Oh  :-[ Im sorry you found this game that bad.

I didn't. Your previous game was very good and I held this one to those standards. What's more, I expected a similar type of adventure game. It disappointed me, and it had some bad things, but I don't think it was a bad game.

We want everybody to love our games!!

That is an unattainable goal; there will always be detractors. Make sure you love your games, the rest will follow.

What do you mean exactly? I have done that many times and I still get the message I mentioned.

I got stuck. I think I might have hit a bug, because it seems I did what was expected. Namely:
Spoiler

I got the 'knight' to kill the chef after using the virus. I had previously loaded the grate and trophy into the recycling hole.
When I try to use the food machine I still get the error about no material/wrong material. I can't tap back into the uplink because the 'knight' is still busy.

What you should do is try to stop the "crawler" upstairs. By releasing the clock from what's stopping it.

I know, I just can't figure out how :-/

I'm not enjoying this game much. It's hard for me to write this because I really liked these authors' previous game, Death: Episode 1. And how I liked that game, I even called it my favorite AGS game of the year.

In this game the authors have put the same care and love for the art as they did for Death: Episode 1. However, the item-based puzzles are uninteresting; there are absolutely no clues regarding the various supernatural items, so most puzzle solving is reduced to trial and error; the dialog is almost inexistent, and what's there is uninspired; and the timed action puzzles are way unforgiving.

A developer might get by with timed puzzles, even hard ones, if he provides a slick and responsive UI, and big, easy to hit with the mouse action areas; but that's not the case with this game, where the interaction is an exercise in frustration when the clock isn't ticking against you, and just sheer boredom "OMG I died again" when you have to act fast. Also I'd argue that trial and error puzzles and timed sequences don't mix at all, at least not in an adventure game, but that's just my opinion.

I didn't expect this game to be as long as Death: Episode 1 (even though that one was free and this one is paid), but I feel cheated because the quality of this paid game is so much lower in almost every other sense.

Also a note to the authors: could you update the description of this game to state explicitly that the game relies on timed puzzles? I didn't expect that from reading in the game's description that it was "actionpacked." I play adventure games to relax, not to be running against a timer, and I believe I'm not alone, so this was an unwelcome surprise (though only one of many factors to tint my review so negatively).

Hints & Tips / The Demonic Dollhouse

I'm stuck towards the end, I believe.

Spoiler

The closet monster is escaping from the TV. I've collected some more green goo and ran upstairs, but I can't figure out what to do, so I end up dying time and over again.

You're right, the spiral does represent the well and black and white stones match with the gems. Let me help you with an extra piece of information: each section of the spiral represents one row of stones in the well, the first section (starting from outside of the spiral towards the inside) being the upmost row of the well's base.
I hope this helps you solve the puzzle. I wanted to give you a hint rather than the whole solution, but if you still don't know what to do, post it here:)

Thanks, you confirmed my theory. I clicked a bit more and finally found it.

I liked the game, good job!

Interesting puzzles. I haven't played the original OROW version, but the game seems polished. The only thing I don't like so far is that once the main character starts walking somewhere, you are not allowed to change the destination until he gets there.

I'm stuck now:
Spoiler

I've recognized the white and black stones in the well as related to the ones in the third stone. However, I can't figure out what to do next. The spiral seems to indicate that something is missing or loose inside the well, or in one row above or below the black and white stones, but after clicking on quite a few stones and having tried several item/well combinations, I gave up. What should I be doing?
