How did they do the sprites for the curse of monkey island? The animation looks very smooth.

That works good. But it would be better if there was a way to allow you to set it constantly for all the characters. Its pretty hard to use it on dialoge speech. and it might be easier that way.

All the files are the same and they are .wav the problem is that its not playing the dialog speech everything else works fine. I had this problem on a different game as well It might be my computer.

Edit:

Well I dont know what I did but I somehow fixed it. It just started working again.

in the diologe script i numbered them like this:
Ego: &20 Hi.
I named the file Ego20
the voices work on everything else

I put in speech for my game but the speech for dialog topics doesn't play. I can't find anything wrong with it either.

Thanks that worked except when I the tumbleweed goes off one end it comes off the other end right away.

i think you should be able to back click and have the option import section of sprite and import whole sprite so you have the option. I do use it but not very often.

How could I make a somthing print directly off of the game. I want to have the player find somthing that the player will need throughout the game that will print off when they find it.

Im saying that they should have a text box like for narrator speech and use it around the characters text above there heads. just like lucasarts-style speech but with the words in a text box.

There is one kind of speech style that is not included which is lucas arts with a text box background. I would want it for my next game.

I think it would be handy to have a edit sprite option so you would not have to export the sprite, edit it then import it again. sort of like game maker. also I dont know if this is a bug or not but i cant clicking on the preview view button does nothing.

Well, After i finished Tales of Chickenry my aunt saw the game and was impressed. she teaches a gifted class at a school in Witchita KS and wants me to talk to the class about ags and my game. What do you think I should tell them?
