Some issues with a direct on, front view, so I took this off to the side.

I did the band logo as "Cow Ponchers." May change the group's name to "Cow Motion." Cow motion, commotion, get it? No? Not important.

Anyway:

It's fairly easy to get 3D stuff to move. It's fairly difficult to get the motion to look realistic. Sorry if I've made anyone's eyes bleed, or made anyone want to puke. Just 'cause I'm having fun doesn't mean anyone else is.

Disclaimer: No Adeels were harmed in the creation of these files, but I did stress the hell out of his pelvis and knees. And, still, didn't get very good results.

Has Dennise always had that bald spot and enviable bikini line?

Also, I know things are getting pretty crowded on stage, but if Ponch is going to sit down he might as well do it on a milking stool.  ;)

I'll have to look at that head, it appears. Did some work on Adeel's sitar:

I doubt my meshes will tolerate a proper yoga pose for Adeel, so that may be all I can do with his pose.

Edit: Reseeded Denise's head. (Some points got moved along the way, somehow.) Also moved the camera to give a better look at Adeel's sitar.

Nothing wrong with Baron's eyes, apparently. That monocle must be a fashion statement of some sort.  ;-)

Edit 2:

I've been trying to address the issue with Denise's shorts for a while now. None of my changes to the weight painting have fixed it. Had to resort to a morph that I can apply in the seated position:

Betcha Ghost never had that problem with his Denise!

You know, Ponch does, indeed, look happier back there with the cowbells. I shoulda known...

And I gave The Baron a new Oil Can, only I thought they were called axes, by those in the business:

Here's the bigger, little Adeel... Or is that the little, bigger Adeel. I seem to be confused.

Now, back to the band. I need better instruments. I need to correct the poke through on Ponch's inside jacket cuffs. I also need to figure out why Denise seems to be losing her shorts (some vertex being pulled the wrong way, I warrant). Damn drummers.

I don't think the red shirt goes too well with the flag. Like in the original image, white shirt will work well imho.

I really like the shirt you've given me in this one, jwalt. Also, where did you find out that I like Sitar? I like the concept behind it, you see. Just one string to play with and nothing else. Works good with my lazy self ;)

PS: Where's Tabata?

E: Can I have a miniature version of this Adeel for my glorious collection of Avatar? I've become a huge fan of that Pakistani shirt, to be honest!

And I'm thinking about Tabata, but have no trumpet in my closet. I'm not actually UV mapping the Pakistani flag to the shirt, so the results are not always quite what one expects. I'll work on the bigger figure tomorrow.

Am I playing some sort of ...oil can?

Bass oil can... Placeholder art. Work in progress.

Bass Sitar?

And for the record, I play drums in real life, thank you.

Rats. Something else I'll have to fix.

So, who's on the keyboard? Denise? And the drum logo is "The Cow Ponchers," in case your eyes are bleeding.

When I saw that hair on my cow, my first thought was "Flock Of Seagulls" :=

A rock group... Now that's a thought.

I'll work on it: guitars, amps, lights...

Edit: And maybe add Adeel, with his sitar?

Story behind this effort, but I won't bore you with it; it involves Pet Shop Boys' West End Girls, and a recent trip to KFC. So, anyway:

@Snarky, that's the approach I would use in Bryce, but Anim8or's lights seem different. I'm still learning stuff about Anim8or's lights, and will try some more things, including your suggestion. Thank you.

Haven't been able to model Ghost's Kee, so I modeled Ghost's key.

Edit: This is what happens when they take me off the meds...

The black and white photos I found on the web, and I don't own them. One advantage about using Ponch's coat for the texture on his coat, I don't have to worry about poke through. And anyone ever see Darth without the hat?

The bright bits (pools of light) are where two spotlights overlap. What did it look like with the shadows cast?

That is likely the reason. I Googled some images, and I don't see the intensification between two lights. I toyed with the spotlights a bit to remove the overlap, and I pulled some stuff out of Bryce (aky/ground). Regarding the shadows, the spotlights are above the poles, so the cover on the pole was leaving a big black pool at the base of the light poles.

I should also add that the tree is something I found on the Anim8or Forum. I should probably darken down he sky; it looks a bit brighter than I want.

I did this in Anim8or, and it involves some faking, since Anim8or's lights seem limited (to me). I turned off the cast shadows, because they looked really bad. Is this too off putting? It seems reasonable, to me, but I have low standards. Mainly curious about the lights, but fire away on the rest if you want to.

FYI, I'm running two low intensity area lights, and four spot lights.

Recent comments about "bleeding eyes" and "strange threads," accompanied by sprital nudidity, prompted me to ask one of the Mods to moderate this thread. Snarky was busy, something about not touching something with a ten foot pole. Also, his avatar made modeling him difficult, so I picked on another one:

Edit: Gave the Moderator something to do:

Played, commented on, and rated Bob's Quest II. It is a short demo game, uses placeholder art, and was okay. Took very little time to finish the demo. Appears the full game was never completed.
