Curse of Enchantia? I'm pretty sure that's it.

Wow, some really impressive entries there.

But, for me, it's got to be....................... Kasander!

Barbie and the crazies? That's one seriously messed up looking game.

Done.

Atmosphere: Selmiak - a very interesting world you created there. Love the mountains and the waterfall is very well detailed.
Composition: Kastchey - what can I say except great composition? Would make a good backdrop for a cut-scene me thinks.
Functionality: MeditativePixel - I can totally see that in a game world.
Technique: Kastchey - Blends well. Really well.

Nice work.

Well, looks like I'm going to have to be that guy.

Guilty!

Now, here's another incredibly obscure choice, but arguably still falls into the adventure game genre:

Good luck.

Not so much of a conventional adventure game but I'm pretty sure it sits happily among the genre:

Sorry for the small image size guys.

Amazon Guardians of Eden?

That game is hilarious, but still pretty good.  (nod)

A very simple way to do this would be:

In the general settings, set default transition when fading rooms to instant. Then assign your own Fadein's in each room's room_load events.

It's not that much work, really. Your fadein's won't work in Direct5 so you'll have to make your game Direct3d.

Hope this works for you. If I'm wrong about anything I'm sure someone will correct me! But yeah, this works.

Had to share this article.

The fact of the matter is this: in Britain, her actions shaped the country in a big way and, where as many people think she was a great leader, a lot of people hate(d) her guts too. It goes with the job description. Her actions were very controversial ie Falklands war and the poll tax.

Personally, I never knew her. Why should it affect my life that she has passed on at the very graceful age of 87? Sure, what she did during her reign affected my life, my parents lives and even the youth of today's lives. Can't say I am happy about that - it sucks, but the fact that she passed away doesn't change that.

I can understand why that 'ding dong' song got in the charts, I don't condone it, but I can understand it. Sure, people are taking it way too far but when you look at a newspaper or turn on the tv and see nothing but good grace about the woman, it was bound to be met with an equally expressive opposing side. Absolutely inevitable.

My two cents (or pence, even!).

It's no wonder "Ding-dong the witch is dead" has made it's way into the charts. Everyone was thinking it. The government's forking out for a huge funeral, no surprise then. In death, as in her life, she's gulping up all everyone's money. Go figure.

Of course one can sell AGS games (or any game you make). That's completely up to the developer, they don't need permission. Just make sure it's 'sell-worthy'.

And read up on the legalities too.

My thoughts :

Spoiler
I loved the music.
I liked dialog, although actions of Mrs. Boulyn were not consistent with someone who hired a paranormal investigator (even if she was depressed by her daughter's disappearance).
Graphics were alright although a bit blurry.

Hopefully we get to play the sequel.

Hey, I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the feedback

That's pretty much the general consensus I'm getting about Boulyn. Beeatch be crazy. Literally.

Anyway, I'm in the middle of a huge project and probably shouldn't, but I've decided to start work on the sequel so you can expect it in a couple of weeks to a month! The story is written so it's just putting it all together now.

EDIT: Also, guys... He's a psychic medium! He just deals with ghosts. He isn't about to take on the skunk ape or anything ;)

I've NEVER managed to make out a magic-eye picture in my life, so I'm guessing I will struggle!!!

There's a first time for everything!

Maybe I am just lame!

I played Colin Simpson Leaves Employment and I can tell you this - you're certainly not lame! That game is awesome. That third stereogram is intentionally hard, I'd be surprised if anyone gets/got it tbh.

In other news: The dev blog is finally up if anyone is interested in having a gander - http://paramnesiagame.wordpress.com/

It's very early days but I'll be updating it regularly. Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Magic eye 3D art was indeed all the rage in 90s, used love the things myself. I don't think I've ever seen a game incorporate them so I decided I'd have a go.

QuoteThe basic idea was good even though I could not make out the images.

You might have problems with depth perception - I can only see them/better if I take my glasses off.

The stereograms will be a very, very small part of the full game anyway, so no worries. Been working on some new puzzles and art etc so I'll get a dev blog up soon in case you're interested in seeing it develop.
