This is the best game ever! And I made the leader board, woohoo! Tried the game again to beat my score and it crashed regularly, though :(. But whatever, this is total genius (laugh)

The music is totally motivating and pro, too.

Come on now.  Let's embrace our inner Dadaist and break free from the confinements of fart-related works.  Make a detailed site about the most NON-FART-RELATED thing you can think of.  Never address the URL.  It will only raise further questions.  It will be talked about.  It will be ART dammit.

Imagine, a biography of Margaret Thatcher's Favourite Hairbrushes all featured on fartomatic.com.

The pioneers of DaDa rejected art, so we're off to a winning start!

But I was thinking... The website should totally have a section called 'fart tales' where the writer writes in detail about situations where they farted and what happened/ how people reacted, or vice versa?

What about a fart of the day? People could submit their farts and the best one gets featured. Although, something like that would probably work better on a monthly basis.

Dafuq did I just play? Pass the doobie to the left hand side, Grim.

Is it that obvious?...;) haha ;) I meant well!;)

Haha! (laugh) There is certainly no shame in that.

I'm waiting for the complete game. I hate this episodic bullshit... But having said that- pretty excited about it. I've always been a LucasArts, not Sierra, fan!;)
+1

It's not episodic per-say, though, is it? The second part will just be the full game, right?

Anyway, the game oozes personality and looks pretty great. It's a bit 'click this one thing and then this thing happens' atm, but it'll get better and more challenging. Hopefully. They were always gonna have a lot to prove with this game and it's a given that not everyone will be satisfied. But on a whole I think they done a pretty good job. The cast won't have been cheap either...

Cool module. Thanks, Dualnames! Was using a GUI before and the slow down was awful.

Is that Alf on the screen?

That's Alf all right... I'm racking my brain trying to think how a game that features Alf can be considered scary! Speaking of Alf, he had his own adventure game back in the day if I remember correctly.

Nice work! I really enjoyed it a lot. That Gary Coleman game was a pain in the ass, though, has to be said.

~ For your consideration ~

I originally wasn't going to submit it, but considering I worked with a couple of other AGSers on this one and got in some great voice acting talent (and done a bit myself...), I thought what the hell. It's good exposure at the end of the day. The whole development process turned out to be a great learning experience for me, not only because I learned more about the Adventure Game Studio engine, but because I got to work with an awesome bunch of people and made some good contacts at the same time. It was a learning curve, shall we say? I should probably also mention that if you like the story and are a patient person, you'll probably like this game. Otherwise, maybe not.

Without further ado, I present Mysteries of Peak Valley 2 for your consideration (and what category you think it should be nominated for, if any).

Features:
* Voice acting
* Animated character portraits with lip syncing
* Second in the series
* Ghost mystery/conspiracy

This was some excellent work. Perhaps me and Dualnames should collaborate on music more.

You guys totally should.

Hey, played this a couple of days ago and completed it, but didn't get round to telling you how cool I thought it was. Loved the bleak and sinister atmosphere, just the right amount of pessimism for me. Meh, who am I kidding, more would have been nice. The music was really a perfect match and provided a nice level of creepiness. Anyhoo, ultimately what topped it for me was the film noir writing style. More of this please.

You guys are freakin crazy?

We're The Internet, we love arguing. Plus we're going to make an adventure game about arguing about adventure game arguments. Yeah! :=

Hehe, I love it. It's just wow.

For your consideration:
Jack Trekker - Somewhere in Egypt

Originally created for the eighth One Room One Week AGS competition 2013. Help man of steel, Jack Trekker, egomaniac ladies' man and stereotypical adventure hero, escape the tomb of the Three Sisters with the legendary Dildontus relic! With suggestive dialogue and awesome catchphrases, this game is sure to be one for the whole family to enjoy... and junk!

Gameplay:

Please consider for these awards:
- Best Player Character - Jack Trekker, BOOM!

Why should I vote for Jack?:
- Because let's face it - he's awesome. Aaaand he will be returning in 2014 in a full-length, fancy smanshy feature game! What better way to let Jack know how much you think he's da bomb, dude, than to lend your vote to the big man? Oooh yeah!
