I can't get out of my own way in the first scene!  I have scissors, ant, blue gem, rock.  Tied rope to machinary, and keep throwing the rock at it, to lower the grate.  What am I missing???

that I pressed the Bee Gees tune first, and that is why I got the wrong combination.  When I tried the other 2 songs beforehand, I got your number combo

the empty glass, the professor's glasses, Indy's note, and the professors note. Ã, I've talked to the go-go dancer, and have already played the jukebox to knock out the professor w/the disco ball. Ã, The professor's note says, my favorite numbers are the 2 the 0 and the 3. When I hit 2,0,3 into the "pole", nothing happens...Did you find other numbers?

I enter 203, escape, then try to interact w/ the boat, but he says it's protected by the security system.  Do I do something else instead?

I've tried all the combinations of 0,2,3 from the note, but none seem to work.  Or, one combination works, and I'm not doing it correctly

When you interact w/ the plank, and choose "yes", you go to a whole new area, and get a device to climb up the mountain AND you can carry the telescope at the same time!

There is the river, where you need to use the plank to cross it.  The steps are in the 'mountain' on the other side-they look like little holes in the rock.
The chasm is up to the right of the fishing pole, and you also need the plank to cross it.
Haven't figured out how to carry the plank and the telescope at the same time. 
Someone said they interacted w/ the wild river while standing on the plank, but he only says "not a good idea"...Nothing happened.

At the start of the game and stuck already.

I am SO far behind.  To get the rubber stopper from the toilet, do you need to just catch it with the take icon?  Is there something I'm missing?

nevermind...

OK, got that.  But when they say to use the rope with the trapped rat, on the mousehole, what does that mean?  The rat is trapped in the jar, and I'm not sure what to do next?

I'm at a loss...can't find a rubber stopper.
I have: a bow, the glass, the cord, the empty marmalade jar, dead battery, toaster with the wire plugged in to it, acid and seasoning mix, vial of acid, book w/ recipe, pencil with no lead, lead tip, pillow, toothbrush, hook, sharpened knife.
Seem to be at a standstill.
Can't get the cheese.  Can't use the bow.  Can't get any keys. Can't find the screwdriver!!!

Did you use the pipe on the padlock in the locked room upstairs?  Do that, and then go back and talk to the others watching over the medium.

Can you give me a hint as to what you did to proceed?  I'm in the same situation.  Can't open Ben's window, and I saw something about fixing Alice's bathroom, but that doesn't come up as an option...

If you give the maid your wallet through the chute, she will leave the locked door open for you, after she cleans it.  Also, you will need to mix the bucket of water with something else you can pick up in the closet.  Use it in the kitchen to get ride of the owner/cook
