Awesome story and graphics; my only beefs are with some of the obscure puzzles.  Overall its the most original point-and-click I've played in a long time, and has one of the most interesting main characters in the history of adventure games in Dropsy himself.

I've been reading all of your reviews about the quiet game and I'm so happy!
I was worried that the humor wouldn't really land too well and the glitches would put you guys off, but looks like I was wrong!

The glitches bothered me only because I enjoyed the premise so much.  A guy talking smack who is foiled via booby traps set in motion by the user is a hilarious and inventive idea.  Sort of a fun variation on the trash-talking clown in a dunking booth theme.

That is true, and I felt a bit bad for not keeping a promise. But to be honest, the game is not even uncontrollable.

It also answers the age old question of whether or not Iron Man is a Brony.

Sorry to anyone who experienced a game-ending "money bug" in Flophouse, but thanks for playing!  As Ponch said, we bit off a giant chunk and developed right up until the last minute.

Best Character: Sinitrena...for Inspector Coultry, who was a bit bumbling and fun in his reactions to whatever his prisoner tried next.
Best Scenario: JudasFm...I'm a sucker for the branching evolution tales, and I enjoyed how Sarah was unbiased enough to realize that her own race was as more at fault for starting the war.
Most Suspenseful: Sinitrena...While the stakes were not as life/death on a larger scale as the other stories, there was as consistent tension in the air.
Best Writing Style: JudasFm and Sinitrena...were both good in this department as usual.
Cleverest Ending: JudasFm and SilverSpook

Cool, enjoyed the OROW entry and looking forward to checking out this version!

Awesome comp fellas!  I enjoyed playing all the games, there was a lot of originality and risk-taking on display.  Thanks to Bulbapuck for hosting and my teammates for a fun week of developing.  My caffeine jitters are just now subsiding.

EDIT: Thanks Ghost, most of the sprite animations were based on ideas that we came up with as a group.

Looks great WHAM!  The "universal language" deal is innovative; I'll check it out.

Congrats on the great reviews!  I just snagged a copy, as looks like my kind of game.

I'd like to thank my team for stuffing me in the trunk and taking me along with the PartyWagon! Great job  :-D
Stockholm syndrome. Worst case I've ever seen. (wrong)

Was a pleasure rolling in the wagon, always a blast to work with Ponch and made a new friend in the hardworking Mite!

...How's everyone doing?
...you can still post updates on the game making process.

Give me the theme just five minutes early and you can become Venopuck.
#235
I find this theme metaphorically in-sync with the OROW competition.
#236
I just have to say that after this competition I wrote a few trip reports for my work, and I purple prosed them!  Had to do some modifications for readability purposes after-the-fact...

War of the Worlds?

Shotgun works, in the event Ponch swerves into oncoming traffic I can at least make a desperate grab for the wheel.  Plus he assured me that the messy incident with the busload of orphans was a one time thing

Baron's streak continues...Congrats

Fun game and good topic guys, thanks!

Me, I'm torn between Wyz & kconan (and this little French-connection thing I've got going on the side via PM ;)).

Ponch wooed me with his bold moves, so I've joined the dark side.
