Would look good provided you can at least somewhat match the art style for all the in-game assets.  I once tossed around a wargame idea before which involved using ancient art (bowman, swordsman, etc...), and the game itself would be set in that era.

and I prefer to see who made a game right from the start and without having to click on an extra link to unfold all contributors to a game.

Yea, this was the only thing I didn't like.  I prefer to see who worked on the game as a default.  Otherwise the new design is awesome!

  I vote for Sane Co.

This is a tough challenge to do well, but an awesome and very original idea for a music competition.

When voting in the past I've typed one word names with no problems.

I think its related to the recent forum lag and other errors people have experienced on here.

Shut up and get on with it.

Yea this.  The best AGS developers on this board spend more time actually working on their project than talking about their project.  Occasional updates and seeking input is good, whereas 9000 mini-updates and going on and on about the same ambitious project(s) is not.

Sounds great, looking forward to hearing about Screen 7's progress as a publisher and gamemaker...and hopefully the eventual release of "Santa Claus is Down...Again!"

Perhaps threads like these are what's helping cause the massive slowdown of the forums...

Actually, that was Ponch's trophy collection sig.   ;D

On topic randomness...The coolest thing ever explained to me when I was young was the idea that whenever you look up into Space, you are actually looking back into time due to how long it takes light to travel to Earth.

I just saw a review on this one on Gamespot.  Looks like fun!

I don't know. Everything just feels wrong. I have no one to vent to, so I came here. Any words of wisdom will be much appreciated, preferably before I go insane.

You are 21, so it is not a big deal even though it may feel like it at the moment.  If this were happening to you at 41, it would be a different story.  Get your degree and focus on that for now.  Forget the girl, use your emotions/pain as fuel in the gym and in your studies.

The majority of the people I know who got married in their late teens or early twenties are divorced and/or really unhappy.  You dodged a bullet.

The idea reminds me of Evil Genius.  Good luck with this Wham, sounds like fun.

Donnie Yen (also in "Hero") is quite good, a handful of his movies are worth a look like "Dragon Tiger Gate" and "Flash Point" provided you can ignore the cheesy plots and focus on the action.  "Kill Zone" was also a fun martial arts flick; Sammo-Hung is in that one as well.

Tony Jaa is pretty amazing, though his movies are very cookie-cutter in terms of plot even by the standard of the genre.

As for women, the lead in the movie "Chocolate" is flat-out awesome, though I haven't seen anything else she has done.

Here is a cool game that oozes Nintendo and old school arcade nostalgia.  It's flash, but it feels/plays like a retro PC game.

Oops, just noticed how old this thread is...

I handle tie-breakers, and so CaptainD wins by a hair over Ghost.

Winnner of the Golden beaker....Captain D!

And the Silver beaker goes to...Ghost!

And the leaking Wooden beaker goes to...Ponch!

Over to you CaptainD

So are we viting yet?  In which case my vote goes to Ghost - some dodgy rhymes and doesn't always scan, but it's a lot of fun!  ;D

Yea, we can vote now.  So thats one for Ghost.
