IS the water trick true? That is, if you put some ones hand in warm water while they sleep, they 'go to the bathroom in their pants'
I like the 'post it note'  one. Its evil. ;D

Lo_res_man's reply was basicaly what I had found on the wiki, and even that told me something - it's not as obscure a thing as I thought, never having heard of the thing in my life.
well....eh heh...when I was in my late tweens I got a book that  had  a fictional VR setup in it. Of course it sounded really cool, and so I wanted to learn more. I found a lot of books at the local library about the real thing, and it was all deeply facinating. So my info is dredged up from a child whose only real hobby was reading. So my responce may be slightly misleading as to this setups obscurity.

Well I don't know your chances of finding them is, but shutter glasses work by blacking out, with a LCD one eye, and displaying an image on the computer screen angled for the other eye and visa versa. Its done really fast so that your eyes don't see the blinks, but the advantage is that it can use an ordinary display to show stereoscopic 3d.

I don't really like naruto, his voice in the English voice overs could cut glass IMNHO, and it never really caught my interest "BELIEVE IT!!!" *ouch*. However, I do like anime. I recently saw howls moving castle, amazing, plot didn't make much sense in total, but it was still a magical experience, that man is THE master. The rest of the world may agree with me, but it is still true..
I also like Full Metal Alchemist, and Ghost in the Shell. I do like Avatar: the Last Airbender, that can best be described as American Animation Derivative of Anime. I like some manga, my faves been Red River and Parasite.
Cosplaying, sounds fun, I love Halloween, and a chance to do it more then once sounds neat.   I have never been cosplaying, but then I am also a trekkie, and have never been to a convention.
As far people say anime is kiddie, well I think that is a tad unfair. Look at a show or movie, and try look at the message not the medium.
Anime, like any animation allows a seamlessness of special effects that is possible only because it is all special effects. Look at the story, do you like it? Then watch it. Take it as face value, and not with  prejudices. Don't think "this is anime, this is bad." think "is this good anime or bad anime" expand your world, don't be confined to what you are used to.

do you know where I could get this on DVD? the idea sounds breathtaking, and with art that beutiful I want to experiance it in its fullest. It is interesting, with so many vigelantes 'heros' out there it is interesting to see a story where someone is trying to bring one to justice. I am rooting for L.

My gods! Her breasts are bigger then her face! The hands miss bubular cluster is rather good if the posing of them is weird, but madame ribbon arms over on the lefts hand is far too small. A good guide to face hand proportion is the rule of thumb that your spread out hand should be as big as your 'mask' that is your features. As well I know from personal experience that this pose is a devil to do right, but the arms look far too flat and are posed rather weird.

but if luck exists, what happens if to 'lucky' people meet? They can't both be lucky. Sure for some people the dice come up good all the time, and for some, life is one bad roll after the next. Some get the natural 20's some are grateful to get better then the natural 1's. But I don't believe that is luck, i belive that is ordinary, explainable by the laws of physics, chance. No more and no less. And that is what I meant when I said I belive in chance, not luck. You have the right to disagree with me, but I also have the right to disagree with you.

I made these for a MAGS game I never completed. they are.. The Three Deaths. Instead of just one grim reaper, three. The one on the left is the Death of Warrior, harvesting the souls who die mankinds wars. The one on the right is the Death of the Many, a catch all death for the multitudes. In his book is written every name assigned him, he guards it well. And in the middle, crying blood, is the comforter, the crib raider, the bringer of the quick peace. She carries away the children never born, those recently born, and mothers who die of childbirth. she is bone under her dress, though few see it. I worked on many thing I hadn't doen before for this one. The fabric folds and foreshortening I am especially proud of.
But what do you people think? I would like mature and well thought out criticism, if you can spare the time. Not "I like it  :)" or "Bad   >:(" So if you are going to respond, please may I remind you it is your comments that drive me to improve my work and how. Thank you.

edit: Thank you for the long and detailed critique. monkey_05_06 I don't mind people liking my work, I just don't like a pat "I like it" post. I put a lot of thought into this, can one give the courtesy of doing the same when they critique the piec?. Evidently you have ,and I thank you for it. I will get to work right away.

edit: I  I will make this visually noticeable in the edit, but under her dress, she is just bone. should have mentioned it in the description. that is why she is so thin in the waist. And yes the Mass grim clothes are all one colour, I wanted him to have the effect of a walking silhouette or shadow. But I will try editing it for more 3D look, and see how it turns out.

I'm not sure I understand you. How would you define "chance"?
I think that stupid things happen because they happen. Events pile up into a chaotic state, and really predicting what will happen, or why, is more of a mugs game then anything else. Each individual could only have complete control over there destiny if they gave up all choice in the matter. Life is a chaotic mix.  Only force of will parts the storm, but even then, crap happens. Your life is a mix of your own choices and the mix with all other people choices. I guess a better way to put it is I belive in chaos, that the time spent finding out the reasons behind the weird events that crop up in peoples lives could be better spent living that life.

A Pig you say? You will be my meal then.
even if I  ended up being bacon, at least I was domesticated. And that's a sweet deal. Besides, I am gonna end up somebodies dinner anyway, worms and crawlers and bacteria.

poor grandpa will be lucky if he isn't shot. And before anyone complains that I am not Morgan Sutherland, I am. she is my female alter ego, like Adrian in cybersix.
next:  Famous AGS characters saying "Hellooooo.... NURSE!"  to an appropriate individual (look up animainiacs for references)

speaking of Karma/reincarnation (they kind of go hand in hand), one thing I object to in that theory of post-living conditions, is that what makes an creature HIGHER and what makes a creature LOWER? Seems a tad specisist to me. Of corse if I did come back, I think I would want to be a pig. Did you know ,they can have orgasims lasting up to 30 minutes. Like I said, being a pig sounds preatty good ;D

I belive god has a plan, s'he is just very subtle about it. Humans screw up most things with out any help from any fallen angel. As for luck I don't belive in it, because it tends to cancell itself out. i do however belive in chance.
