Its great, reminds me of someone though, but I guess thats a good sign. anyway if I can make a critic its that one breast seems bigger then the other, as well they don't really seem to be on the same angle as her body.
I mean, her bodys tilted one direction and her breasts in another. just my humble opinion.

So long and thanx for all the fish!  :)
and here is an old blessing I have always liked.
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
May God be with you and bless you:
May you see your children's children.
May you be poor in misfortune,
Rich in blessings.

May you know nothing but happiness
From this day forward.

May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the warm rays of sun fall upon your home
And may the hand of a friend always be near.
May green be the grass you walk on,

May blue be the skies above you,
May pure be the joys that surround you,
May true be the hearts that love you.

We will miss you, but Godspeed.

IMHO, I use paint for my charactors and objects and a combination of paint and Artgem for  backrounds. I dont't use it for sprites because, it has no curve tool.you may be thinking " who cares about the [insert explitive here] curve tool?!" but I find its very useful for creating smooth and round graphics that look smoother and less jagged then somethng made with say, the pencil tool. and how do I mean when I say I use "paint and Artgem" in combination? well, I use pant for the backbone, the starting lines and (if it was 3D) the wireframe.I then in artgem use the tools included to make better shadows, graduents, and anti-jaggednis. but I first design it in paint.

IMHO it would be nicer to say "I hate it when user posted images don't load." just a small reminder to be kinder. well enough moralizing, I'll just sit back, twiddle my thumbs and whistle.

and that is what I call a fan, man what a fanatic, he (or she) probebly doesn't pay rent! interesting but man, what insane dedication. (and I thought religion was weird)

that IS unfair, this game has been fun. but the fact that they stay in in one room and not in another is rather nasty of the author.

what I ment was YOUR charactor isn't afraid of snakes. in the first chapter, he goes past a bunch of 'em and not no sweat, but much less then is typical indie

I know, I copied them into Word, made spell checks and pasted them in the post. I am being VERY careful.

SBsLoVeNiA, you don't have to recreate, just follow the same rules. another good exampole is the night scenes in pleurghburg.

hello,I am playing a game called moms quest. it so far has been fun though the graphics are enough  to make you want to tear your eyeballs out.  spoiler ahead. I have come to the point were I can free the king.I take him out of his jar, and his "song" makes the charactors legs go weak, i try sticking banana peels in her ears but the game won't let me leave them in. why i think this is a bug is that in the next room over I can keep them in, but when I try to go the next room with the peels in her ears, she just takes them out. but I seem to need to do this. am I solving the puzzle wrong? or is there a bug?

Paint doesn'tÃ,  suck, for sprites anyway. Backrounds, yes, they don't look good when done in paint. butÃ,  itis just as good as anything forÃ,  320 sprites.Ã,  Take a look at this sprite and tell me it quote "sucks"

[edit] I find that the story is inconsistent with Indies charactor.
one he is not afraid of SNAKES. AS well Indie probebly think the whole thing is a waste of time, after all he was looking for the ark of the  covenant  in the first movie.

Umm, It is supposed to be night, right? Well I have noticed that night is often more blue. And this picture IS dark. Now a photo might record night as dark,  but when our eyes adjust we often see it in a differant way. as well the moon creates pale blue highlights.  here is a good example
http://www.worldofmi.com/imageviewer.php?id=24

Note the highlights on the log, the blueness of things though nothing in the pic in daylight would be blue

As well, you say that the perspective is crazy to add a cartooney look? It doesn't, it looks more smeared then skewed. Look at more cartoons, even the wackiest don't so much forgoe perspective as exaggerate it, twisting and turning the basic shapes to create new results. for example often a hill would appear to be far away, but a charactor could get there in a few steps. a mountain would be impossibly steep and tall. a house would not be square. as Picasso knew, before you can change you need an understanding of the basics.
a childs scribble isn't cartoony, looney toons is.

Well, ok. ('sniff) will try to be more clear in the future.
(Note to self: LEARN TO F***ING SPELL)
Thanks for the constructive criticism, now I know what to do in my next posts. hope to be more clear from now on. :)

Believe me I try, I often keep Microsoft Word open so I can cut-and-paste words I KNOW I will spell wrong. The sad part is, I spell so bad I don't always know when I am spellling something wrong. Do you think I like this, having my ideas tossed over, simply since my spelling is so terrible?
(puts head in hand and cries)

Well I love a noble quest to do something impossible, Count me in!
I would be best at charactor sprites, and design. If I can get a hand on a microphone, I'll do voice acting.
May the project commence!

maybe it IS to much for snoopy, (not me, I "chunk" mine foes in quake, and laugh) YOU might find it childs play but he finds it too much. Sadly Snoopy, If you don't like blood, do not play action games. The very idea of these games is to be violent, and with violence comes BLOOD. If you want a good action game without blood I would try a Mech warriors game, or or some Robot fighting game. Maybe you want to play this game, (kings quest 8) to complete the Kings quest series. its not really needed, it has little to do with kings quest (from what I have heard) and could have been set in any mystical land. so sorry if you can't stand blood, i am sorry but I recommend  you do not play. sorry, but its seems to be yourv only choice,( but if I see a patch somewhere I'll e-,mail, or PM you) .

I was only  been silly,  it was ment as a joke. BTW I know my spelling isn't so good, I type as well as I know how. I am sorry if I have confused anybody, but that last post was ment as a joke and a comment on how big this thread this thread has gotten, and how it has shifted around in so many crazy ways. again sorry :'(
