Hello,  it is I, Lo_Res_Man or LRM as I have been called recently.
I was wondering how one would implement a dragons lair type action scene? Not as detailed of course but still going with the idea of pressing the right button at the right time. What would be the easiest way to implement this? and remember I am a complete programming noob.

For me, call me odd, but I really like playing females in role playing games.  though a good old fashioned titty bounce fighter game is fun two.

That sucks, I mean in the days of old when the internet was on the phonelines, and men and woman would sacrifice there telephone to 'dial-up' one could do it without a ISP.

I light candles and burn incence, and write pentagrams on the floor all to invoke the spirit of the computer. :D no not true, but i do keep the moniter off until I think it is done loading. since I can usully find something else to do, it helps make the LONG time it takes for my computer to boot go faster.

I have decided ....
first Space Boy for  darth mandarb

tie second  nihilyst for progzmax
tie second  progzmax for nihilyst
third Gilbot V7000a for Lionmonkey

honourable mention darth mandarb for DragonRose and Oddysseus for KhrisMUC.
great work within some unusual constraints, thanks everybody.
And those two tied? FIGHT TO THE DEATH!(lol)

Speaking of broadband, does anyone know if there is a way to connect broadband without a service provider? Like if you bought everything like the stuff  the ISP companies have, instead of renting it?

It would be the greatest arrogance on our parts to think we in this modern age, have discovered all wisdom.

If you really want to go nuclear, lets revive Project Orion and get off this rock.

I think windwmills are a good idea, yes birds die, and yes the landscape looks differant afterwords. I would rather have clean power. On the other hand don't get excited about the 'free energy, man" idea where "we all make our own energy and go off the grid and stick it to the Man, man" I don't these are good arguments to make, for one it makes companies, and people with capitol, less likly to invest. I mean these people want to make money, and I am okay with that. I would rather have people making money THIS  waythan say more polluting ways.

On the oppiiste issue, I picked up  mac copies of Sam and Max as well as MMDotT and using ScummVM, plus a side program to grab the data, got them to work on my pc. WOOHOO!

I've used VDMsound, I've used it for games that run fairly smoothly in whatever os you have, just no sound. For compatability problems, like the game refuses to run or something then yes I reccomend DOSbox. Just make sure your computer feels up to it, it takes a LOT of power.

I don't know but shooters have been done in AGS. That doesn't make shooters adventure games.

Thats nice, but its not really a sprite. sorry.

Then we would be robots because a robot would probably solve that faster then a human.

remote transmitter for water pit or vault installations that are

I think what She wants is the colours themselvs. I for one am not too bad at making backrounds persay, I just hate colouring them, choosing the colours is always the hardest part for me.
