Any course of action that will stop even one person from turning into a child killer (even if it means causing an inconvenience to the "innocent paedophiles") can surely be considered the right course of action.

Ditto, I was living in a group home for a while, and there was this one young lady, well woman anyway. She was at the time new to the home so I was friendly the way I am with everyone else in the group home, kind,courteous and a good sounding board. Unfortunately she took this completely the wrong way and fell for me like a sack of potatoes. I consider my self somewhere in the middle between extravert and introvert leaning toward introvert. I get along well with others, quite talkative, but also need a lot of time to recharge. I also made it clear that my room is my space and no one enters my room without asking. Well she would hound me day and night wanting to talk, AFTER I just had a 1 hour COMPLETLY onesided conversation, ( her side not mine) and then when I would run up to my room in sheer terror and try to take a recharging time, she would barge in my room. And then when I finally left, she hounded me for my new telephone number and would go into peroxims of glee. Gods, if this is what woman are like, save me from woman! Plus she was rather, well not ugly just completely not my type.

I agree its sick and twisted, and they do need help. But what about patient-doctor confidentiality? Many say looking at pics and wanking is crossing the line , does that mean the good doctor should go to the cops? But that would be most likely the point when they would go to the doctor, when they can no longer deny it turns them on. Its kind of hard to deny that you feel this way when you got guy-goo on your hand. Of course people are experts at lying to themselves but if they are going to get help this would be the time.
As well we should acknowledge that with the mostly justified attitudes of today, I can see how it would be very difficult for these people to admit to anyone else there is a problem let alone themselves.

I don't think this was really got into but now is probably the time to bring it up again, now that we are talking about videos and such What about hentai. Damn it, I wasn't saying that we should act outside law or discard democracy(maybe you missed the "fair trial" and "innocent until proven guilty" bits in my post). Also "criminal" is a broad term. There are people who steal food because they are starving and cant afford food but they are otherwise "good" people and there are people who are driven by sick desires. Do you really believe that both should be treated equally after they have been proven guilty? I strongly disagree. A man who has raped a baby and then killed it is the worst kind of criminal. Treating that person with respect for his dignity is totally wrong.

No they should be treated like criminals. That is what they are. The Law is the highest authority, and it is its job to decide what to do with these people. In a democracy we can change the laws, but we must NOT act outside it. Democrasy is a very fragile thing, we must not shatter it. Thousands of men and woman have given there all for this ideal, don't be so quick to discard it.

I like mouse and keyboard, it allows you to combine the intuitivnes of mice, with the depth of keyboard. but I agree for fighting games, nothing beats gamepad. and for flying games keyboard, unless you can get a yoke or joystick

I agree, this is what this is becoming. However all society have deviants, the true question is how we handle them. I have a theory why pedophiles have the status they do now in the western world. its the low birth rate. Since less children are being born, even though by choice, those fewer children are being protected more. I find George Carlin funny most of the time. What I DON"T understand is why they asked him to narrate shinytime station, aka Thomas the tank engine. I grew up with that show, so when I first heard him do stand up, it was so twisted, hearing this voice I grew up with (it was a cd) saying such twisted funny shit. WTF?
