this topic is quite bad
You do not say what you think
you just blindly post

well from what I understand, this two part system (carrier fluid heating water for steam) limits the exposure of the water to radioactivity but even if the water becomes radioactive, if I understand this right, has a much less half life then the elements in the fuels rods. correct me if I am wrong. As well we can just keep circulating the fluids in a closed system, I think

In my view, It doesn’t matter whether we have free will or not, as long as we THINK we have free will. Like if we are in a "matrix" type environment you might say there is no spoon, but as far as I can tell I can use it as a spoon and do spoony things with it so what does it matter whether it is REAL or not. All we have is our own perspective, that is all we can know. so whether we have free will or not I think it for the good of society we should THINK we have free will, whether we do or don't.

Yes it would be inefficient, and no it is not a solution, but I think it would at least HELP. I mean they go to all this trouble to keep the darn things cool AFTER they are spent, that is, unable to have a self sustaining nuclear reaction, so I thought, well heat is heat, why not USE it? Of course it would be radioactive, but so is fresh fuel. It would require more fuel rods then a normal reactor, but that is a good thing, because that makes more use of waste.

Ha, ha, very funny. I am actually semi-serious about this.

Ok, but I don't like to think God goes "Zot!"
Though, consideringÃ,  God is God, he (or she or it or they) could do it if she (or he or it or they) wanted to, :P Though I prefer to think of it as a tragic accident.

On the 20th anniversary of the cherynoble disaster, the need for a safe way to dispose of spent fuel rods is greater then ever. let us have a minute of silence for those affected ( and still affected) by this tragedy.
( one minute later... )
Thank you. well I have an idea, why dispose of them when you can use them to generate power? They still produce heat, right? And while we might not have a self sustaining nuclear reaction, we still got a lot of heat being produced, and that is all a steam turbine needs, heat. here is my idea to help the world. Any engineers in the crowd to tell me why this wouldn’t work?

Not really, it was just a freak accident,( Like a freak gasoline fight accident :P) and warns us not to stand near tall metal thingies during lightning storms (as if we didn't already know) I don't think we should make light of this tragedy in this way. :( only in comic books does God go “ZOT!!!”.

That's a rather nasty racist thing to say Hillbilly,  >:( Admittedly you are probably joking, but still >:(

IU think the way it was done is the best way to do it, the alien feeling fractured sometimes, (such as when you asked the old guy wanted jesus christ,) but it was sickenly ailien funny

Is this a primitive form of the famous Trollus Dilbertus AKA Accounting Trolls?

Yes, I will likely enter, I just thought it was a good comment

I own eric the unready, (buya for me :)) andI don't think the timed things are bad at all. I think it gives you plenty of time to solve stuff. and it allows you unlimited savrd games so unless you have a phobia to saving games, it cant be that much of a problem. I never found it a problem( though I did get stuck once or twice though) It made it interesting to have to wait for events (spoiler:like lillys show ;D) btw did you ever get the 256 colours in hi res  working? if so pm me how. "less taste, more filling" if thats what you want, eat porridge ;)

No offence but how could a guy swing a rifle like that?, I mean rifles are 90 persent metal, metal is HEAVY, yet he swings it like a bamboo sword ( I know those things have a proper name)

SO. this is what us adventure gamers will be doing if all the computers go kaboom and western civilization ends, while our good friends, the FPS crowd, will be shooting everbody, while the rpg clans will be chasing mutent monsters and wondering "HEY, weres the gold?!" ::)
