Today I've been getting this message every time I try to send a post:

I've tried different browsers and I tried connecting from my phone, but I get the same message and I can't post.

If it's any use, the thread I've been trying posting with no success is this one.

NIGHTTIME

Spoiler
Albert Bierstadt, Lake Tahoe, Spearing Fish by Torchlight; Sylvester Shchedrin, Moonlit Night in Naples; John Atkinson Grimshaw, Reflections on the Thames; Vincent van Gogh, Starry Night Over the Rhône.
[close]
Your job is to create a background set at nighttime. It can be anything you want: a starry night in the countryside, a futuristic city at night, a dark alley, or something else entirely! Even a rock concert, as long as it takes place at night.

Deadline: 18th 25th of May 2018

Voting:

Concept: your background should tell us something about the place you have depicted.
Playability: does it have clearly defined walkable areas, things to interact with, etc?
Artistic Execution: does the image convey the wanted atmosphere? What's the feeling of the place?

Good luck!

EERIE

Images from: Giovanni Battista Piranesi, Carceri d'invenzione.

Your job is to draw an eerie, scary background. It can be anything you want, as long as it gives you (and the viewer) goosebumps: a haunted house, a ghost-infested castle, an abandoned asylum, a foggy cemetery, a dark and seedy alley, a frightening attic, or a dreadful public toilet (those things can be scary, when not properly cleaned). Or something else entirely, providing that it is scary!

Deadline: 5th of March 2018

Voting:

Concept: your background should tell us something about the place you have depicted.
Playability: does it have clearly defined walkable areas, things to interact with, etc?
Artistic Execution: does the image convey the wanted atmosphere? What's the feeling of the place? Is it scary/eerie enough? Would you pass the night alone in it? (if the answer is "yes", it needs to be scarier)

Good luck!

Your job is to draw a background that features the sea. For example a lighthouse on a stormy day, a window overlooking a port, people sunbathing on the beach, a foggy morning on the harbour, three men in a boat, etc. What's important, is the presence of the sea.

Deadline: 12th 18th of September 2017

Voting:

Concept: your background should tell us something about the place you have depicted.
Playability: does it have clear walkable areas (swimmable areas?), things to interact with, etc?

Have fun and good luck!

THE CAFÉ

Your job is to draw a café, whether it's an elegant French bistrot, a cosy English pub in foggy Victorian London, an eerie tavern near Dracula's castle, a neon-filled futuristic bar, a sleazy saloon in the wild west, or something else entirely.

Playability: does it have clear walkable areas, things to interact with, etc?

Have fun and good luck!
