You are not alone.   All I can see on the curtain is the cord but it is stuck.  It's a bit of a pixel hunt to find it but it is at the upper left corner of the blind.  How do I unstick it?  Can anyone give us a hand here?

Is it essential to game play to be able to read this black text?  If not, I will give it a go as the game sounds quite interesting and looks good too.

I also tried the new version and I still have the same problem with the unreadable black font.  Was this supposed to be corrected in this version?

I've tried that, several times over, but he keeps saying I can't do that now.  Could you be more specific?  At what point do I show the mirror and do I click it on Medusa?

How do I defeat Medusa?  I have the mirror, red rose, white flower, flute, blue mushroom and lantern in inventory.

I'm in the cabin and the skunk-ape is pounding on the door trying to get in.  I have turned the tv on.  Now what do I do?  I only have a notebook, compass and a remote in my inventory and none of them seem to work on anything in the cabin.

I tried using the "force letterbox mode" and that seems to work.  I've tried 3 different AGS games and they all work.  Thanks for the suggestion.  What exactly is "force letterbox mode"?

No to the new monitor so that isn't it.  I tried a higher resolution (640X400)  same problem.  I also tried running the games in a window.   They work that way but the window is only 5 X 3 inches big........ just a little too small.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I could see no other forum.Ã,  Prior to Nov 03 I could play all AGS games.Ã,  In November, due to having my pc upgraded, my harddrive was erased and I had to re-install Win 98 and in December I bought a new video card.Ã,  I am unsure if my problem stems from a missing win file or is a problem with my new video card.Ã,  I can still install the games but when I click to play, my monitor shuts off and I have to reboot to get back to my desk top.Ã,  My current video card is GeForce FX 5200.Ã,  If any one can offer a solution I would be very grateful as I miss playing these games.

Okay, I figured out how to run the games in a window.  Beyond Reality only has a playing screen of 5X3 inches and Framed was much bigger.  Haven't tried Perils of Poom yet.  Although I would like to be able to run them in a full screen and if anyone knows how I can do this please let me know.

I don't know if this is the right forum to put this as I am not a game developer, just someone who is trying to play these games.  Whenever I try to start a game my monitor goes black then shuts down but I can still hear music in the background. I then have to reboot using my reset button.  Most recent games that have done this are Beyond Reality, Framed and Perils of Poom.  Does anyone have a remedy or know what is causing this to happen?  I would appreciate any help you can give me.  Thanks.

I've managed to get into shed B but how do I get into shed A and how do I get into the school?

I'm stuck too.  I got into Shed B but don't know how to get into Shed A.

I can't get this game to run.  Every time I click on the poom.exe file my computer freezes up.   I have a P4, Geforce 5200 video card, Win 98 and SB Live.  Can anyone help me out?

My anti virus detected the same virus too.  I didn't bother trying to run the game but deleted it unplayed as who knows what else could be in there that Mcafee didn't pick up.
