Here's mine. Seeing as they are MICROSCOPIC, this is a very minimal composition.

enh... I'm sorry, I lied. Don't expect anything from me. I have too many projects going on.

Obviously, now we have to kill you.
We can't just let people who lie all the time walk this earth.

Is my entry.

It's my first song with vocals, so don't laugh ;) .
The pretty vague lyrics mix elements from Edgar Allan Poe's Masque of the Red Death (http://www.online-literature.com/Poe/36/) with modern living. The theme of the story is that, how rich and famous you might be, you won't escape death. Nature always gets you.
In my lyrics however, the rich people are punished for living the rich life.
When I sing "Look where it got us" they realise they should've lived a better life, etc. So that's where the afterlife part comes in. The meaning of the police siren, apart from blending in nicely is to let the listener hear that "hell" where the rich snobs go to is just like our world, only for eternity... this last part is pretty vague, but what the hell.Ã,  ;)

Made with Ableton Live, Reason, Guitar Rig 2, EZdrummer, and a bunch of reverb/delay/compression VST's.

I believe he stole it off the internet.

I don't think so. He's a very talented musician... check his site.

TD244, I'm really curious, what sounds do you use?Ã,  ;)

Anyway, here is my entry. blah. I might make another... will the new one count or what are the rules?

Sobbing With Wally; a very very depressing talkshow about pirates who never really made it...

The Rumpus Room / Re: The music thread

You can check what I like here: http://www.last.fm/user/maaark/  :P

For the past year I've been mainly listening to stonerrock/doom/spacerock (from QOTSA to Orange Goblin to Hawkwind) and a lot of softer stuff, like dEUS (I know the singer, Nikolas! He's a cool guy, and the whole band is just great!), Radiohead, etc.
Also a lot of psy rock/grunge; Screaming Trees, Sun Dial, etc.

I hate Nirvana though... all sounds the same. If you think Nirvana is good, listen to Screaming Trees. They're better. And they got Mark Lanegan... Great singer.

Make something like Space Quest... but with parodies on different movies...
And let me do the music... like... 70's Hawkwind spacerock... It'd be great  :D

Grim Fandango.
Nothing else gives me the same feeling. Except if I listen to the soundtrack by Peter McConnell.  ;)

An adventure I can list in "almost the same category" is Little Big Adventure 2... Long time since I played it though, but when I replayed GF it reminded me of LBA2.

My top 3 is, I think;

- Grim Fandango; because I'm easily drawn to games with great music & atmosphere.
- Day of the Tentacle; had a lot of fun playing that one!
- Monkey Island 2; I still play some bits on rainy afternoons and boring sundays.

Anybody interested in the music how it's supposed to sound, (although it's okay in the game, except for the school and when you get back home... at least on my PC...), you can find it here: http://members.lycos.nl/maaark/BobGoesHomeDeluxe/
