As has been mentioned it really depends where you are studying. Greenwich is really nice and is quite student-y. Avoid the west end like the plague. Stay away from places like Brixton. I have some friends living up by Liverpool Street. Algate East. It didn't seem particularly bad and the prices they pay for how lush their apartment is was pretty good. I think about £700 a month.

My top choice would still be Greenwich or near. Clean, not overpriced, studenty, plenty of good places to eat, Greenwich Hill is really nice, close to Canary Wharf for nights out and shopping (but very expensive) and good connections to Central London (maybe ~30 minutes to the West End).

But let us know where you're at Uni.

Just to clarify. I'll assume that music is the exception, as usual, to re-using old content rule. I can't compose and would like some tunes in my game.

I have some music from an old PC game I own, would using the music from that game be frowned upon or deemed illegal. I consider it fair usage as I bought the game and I'll be using one maybe two tracks from hundreds and it isn't recognisable what game it is from; no lyrics just music. Any advice on using these?

I think it would be fitting for me to say congratulations to Klaus for such a fine job running MAGS for all these years and I hope DGMacphee (the original host and my predecessor) is also glad to see how successful MAGS has been over the years. Let's hope we get another five years and also that we get plenty of entries this month :) I may have to dabble if I can think of anything worthwhile :)

Keep up the good work it's a shame to see Klaus handing over the torch,

The I-Spy games, Purity of the Surf, A Better Mouse Trap, Apocalypse Meow, Hooky McPegLeg Pirate Postman and perhaps the first RoN game for a good origins story. I'm a big fan of any RoN game by Dave Gilbert or Creed Malay.

Did she give your "Frank" a "Farm Hand"?
Did you "converge" in her "black well"?
Where you "only sleeping"?
Was there a state of "resonance" between you?
Did you unleash your "beast" on her "beauty"?

Just played the game and I enjoyed it. very different but perhaps a little limited. I felt I really wanted more interaction and more stuff to talk about. Anyway, this is a really good read and could give you some ideas:

Anyone driving from Brisbane?

Sure thing if you can spring for fuel.

Let's see.

The distance from London, England to Brisbane, Australia is 10273 miles (16532 km); 20546m round trip.

I think an average car gets about 35 mpg, so I'm going to need about 588 gallons of fuel.

A litre of fuel costs about 94.9p (think that's about what it is around me) so that's £4.32 a gallon.

So if you can chip in £2540.16 for fuel... I'll pick you up.

(nb, it's late and I'm sure I've made a mathematical mistake... feel free to correct any of this)

I think someone recently updated the parser I wrote a while ago. I haven't looked at it but it may be able to help.

Read the edit at the bottom and look at Laukku's parser

Looking good, I'm anticipating this even more than ECC.

Definitely come a long way since Bestowers :)

Sounds like it's more annoying box sliding puzzles from Broken Sword 3. I haven't progressed much further. The lack of voice acting and the poor character portraits has really been putting me off. I have to say that upon playing further this isn't as good as I'd first hoped.

Shame.

I have to say. Love the art, love the animations, love the humour and most of all I love you Snake!

I'll also conclude that it has something to do with Sweden as of the post's originator although have never heard of said battle and don't recall a battle between Sweden and Germany. Perhaps it was long ago?

Windows Mobile?

It's windows, .NET based like AGS already is. It's more available than iPhones, touch screen as well and most devices have the res to support as well as a stylus (which the iPhone doesn't have)

I think the ladies mentioned something about a big cock and he ended up signing john hanCOCK! Ended up without said booty.

I also recall it was October 14th. I remember that because it was the first date I went on an airplane; I visited California and before going we learned about BoH at school.

Okay, how about we throw it across the pond?
