I discussed this with some people at Mittens last year with the idea of kinda "tour shirts". But the idea just seemed to lack interest on the most part I think.

There will be no dibbing of beds. Bed allocations are calculated via a complicated algorithm. Maybe.

By "complicated algorithm" I don't suppose you mean picking names out of a hat.

If that is the case it better be an exceptionally exquisite hat.

Okay, everything is confirmed for me now, I'll be there from the 25th and leaving on the 29th (maybe 28th). I'm definitely coming and looking forward to seeing everyone. If it's still good for me to come I'll book my travel this week.

Do I need to bring anything besides a sleeping bag / money? I can probably go out and buy a tent if need be.

Yes, looks very nice, however I feel the wood used to board up the window seems a little "bright", perhaps dull it down a bit, add some darker shadows between the boards? Besides that it looks fantastic, good luck with the rest of your work.

I'd like to come to the whole thing, if you guys will have me. I've got a couple of things to bring and show if we will be doing a showing off.

Spooks and Cirque are also very good, I'd probably sway Cirque du Zale for JAPACA for the fact that it wasn't really a full game

Go play them all, just not the ones people have recommended.

What would be nice to know as well is if there are any AGS games you have played more than once and the reason for this. I know when I buy a game and am forking over hard earned money I dont want to play it just the once, it would be interesting to know if many AGS games get played more than once.

For me the only two I have played more than once was 5 days a stranger, which I played to recap on the story before the latest in the series. The second being Larry Vales for it's unique humour and dialogue.

Any dates are good, I still haven't changed my mind so I'm definatley still coming as far as I can see and most likely for the whole week or at least half.

I think this is a brilliant idea to help people know what everyone thought of their game and to know that they would need to improve. If more reviews were left as well it would allow people to form better decsions as well, even if the rating is low it could have some really incredible parts which get overlooked.

I will definatley contribute to this.


Hehe, I just looked at my piratess game, it's been downloaded over 1000 times and with 8 votes giving an average of 38%. Considering this game was unfinished and very buggy I think that's a friggin' awesome rating and definatley gives me some motivation that if I put more effort into what I'm making then hopefully it will score high.

As with all games nowadys it'l probably be a FPS and blow. If not then it will probably take the form of a Myst style explore and solve with various action sequences like those in Dragon's Lair and the likes. I can't really see it working any other way.
