I think it's a publicity stunt, they know the console will sell regardless of its name. This way it gets people talking about it. I'm buying one, but it might be a while... it's still all about the games, not the console for me.

Nintendo seem to aim for creating games so far off and crazy when the sad thing is the majority of people just want to play a grand theft auto with a new title and a different colour car, or an EA game, so they lose out for trying to meet the needs of "real gamers".

Sorry to ruin everyones fun, but apparently that was the extent of CJ's drawing ability and needed something to be an inventory object... and it just kinda became the symbol and logo of AGS. Ask Pumaman.

How about a competition to come up with the best competition idea? I'd submit that idea... so I'd win.....

yea I think this idea could work, but a minute seems a bit too short. The biggest problem for me with the current animation competition is that it has a sprite given to you, and for me with very limited art skills, as anyone who has played ANY of my games will notice.

An idea of maybe Animuntes where you can animate a sprite, background, object but you say have 10 minutes to animate it (any time limit for the original item). Or you must animate someone elses work from a sprite jam / background blitz.

I'd attempt a few entries to help improve my skills.

Again the fact that it is in Japanese and only ever released in Japan and restricted to the Gamecube makes quite esoteric and probably will have similar responses. If someday Japanese evolves naturally into my brain and I stumble across a free gamecube I'll track down a copy of this game.

I'm not sure about the sun in the corner, i think it needs to move closer to the top centre of the image. Also the proportions seem way off, the lampost and mail box sizes in comparrison with the trash can and size of the building. Either these items need to appear further apart or changed in size.

Edit - just noticed farlanders second image, the lampost seems fine in that image :p

I recently stumbled upon an artist on VH1 I think called Orson. No idea if anyone has heard of them or how old / popular they are, I'm guessing as it's VH1 it was probably a few years ago and not all to popular.

Anyway the singer has a pretty good voice and it's a nice steady easy listening kind of music, not usually what i go for... quite catchy though; I recommend it.

I think all the serious answers have been posted, do keep us updated as this sounds like a 'real life' adventure game... perhaps you should make a game about it.

It's still going to hit big at the box office for what it is, but being the fact that it is a tv show gone movie whether it will be a cinema release is also an issue.

Another thing is that they should definatly sum something up, or at least pave way for the last season (as in the last season is the simpsons slightly older... eg bart and lisa as late teens?)

Well They've finally announced a date for the film - July 27th, 2007.

I'm guessing this is going to be an end to the whole Simpsons as it has been going very much down hill for the past few seasons and hit absolute rock bottom around Season 15.

very nice, funny and good artwork. I also have a webcomic thats been going since November last year (comic 30 went up today), although the art sin't as good and most of them are very much private jokes between me and my friends. I think the death link below should take you there.

I had a wierd experience when I was camping last year, where suprisnly out of coincidence everyone there had heard of AGS and one guy even shared the name Chris Jones with our very own AGS creator... coincidence?

Yea, there are sometimes though when I'm talking to people about what I do, but generally I've no experience like that, one of my friends at University had downloaded AGS back in its DOS days but didn't really get into it.

Well if all the cool kids are posting their flight status, so will I.
