Box Slider... I mean Broken Sword 4!!!1

Cool, I will most definatly get this game.

I just hated the program, i tried to make an rpg, but the switch system is just more complicated than it has to be for something so simple.

As for the games, they are almost all the same... I'd rather use AGS to make an RPG any day.

Hmm, could be interesting, I may fiddle around and see if I can come up with a pokémon style entry.

Anyway... more later.

I found it a very nice game to play and was happy to part with my hard earned cash for it, but unfortunalty I did find it a bit too easy and quick to get done, but I feel I was running paralell to Mike Doak's thinking patterns as all the puzzles were very "apparant" to me.

Still, nonetheless a great game.

Podcasting is a means of distributing audio and video programs via the Internet that lets users subscribe to a number of files, also known as "feeds," and then hear or view the material at the time that they choose.

Very good work... everyone here should get their own podcast ^_^

Ah yes good one Vel. I remember that game, I think it's about a school trip to some place and you can't go so you smuggle on board and end up going on the wrong plane or something... I must play that game again some time.

Is it possible to hypnotise yourself?

you silly americans and your automobiles and fancy hats... ^_^

i thought it was a fantastic game. i remember playing it a few years back now. As far as free similar games go i suppose you could wait for FoY... Nothing really too similar... maybe escape from delirium, but that was awful.

General Discussion / Re: Serenity NOW!

I saw Serenity about a week ago, and only realised a few days ago it was absed on the firefly show which i had heard about but never seen. I don't think we ever got firefly in this country, although we did get serenity, :/ weird huh.

I found serenity fine to watch without watching firefly, although since watching it I did manage to watch the pilot episode of firefly, which clears up an awful lot of confusion and made sense of some parts which otherwise would seem obsolete.

Yes, I have just got back from Lunar 5 so I'm near enough where you want to be, when I have access to my PC I can send it to you.

I'm enjoyign this game to some extent, it's nice to look out and has a few very interesting theories about what life could be like in the future. Unfortunatly the first few interactable scenes can be a little boring and tedious and the GUI could use some work IMO, worth £7, considering what else is out on the market in the adventure market :/

Well I bought my copy and got it the old fashioned way, delivered to my door on a cool CD ^_^ and so it took a couple of days

Noel Edmunds

Just kidding.... honestly I am...

Although being alive in the 80's I wasn't old enough to take much in, but I remember watching the following:

- Thundercats
- He-man
- Howard the Duck (or something)
- Super Ted
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (didn't they lose the ninja part at one point?)

I don't really remember much else from my childhood TV life, I think everything merged into one.

Kids these days have no appreciation for the classics with all their poké-mon and "yugioh". ^_^

For me as a child I was more into comics and stuff, I always watched things like spiderman, batman and always read the comics...

to create a function in teh global scripts just type the following

function myfunction (parameters)
{
// what you want the function to do
}

If you go into the AGS help and search for functions it will explain everything.

haven't had a chance to play it yet, but it does look good. I may buy it, it's only £21 or so, but I want to get Call of Duty 2, so I may wait.

The good thing about time out is Eric will finish it in about 10 years, and travel back in time to tomorrow and release it ^_^

I may attempt to make a RON gam for fun.

Also there is Steve McCrea's 3D I-Spy 4 game coming out in a while (guessing next year at least)

Unfortunatly I own almost all of these (or have at some point)

Yea, just had a look. That looks rather... complex. Having to draw absolutley everything using code, but the effect is very impressive. I can only hope to look forward to something being completed using this. I may attempt to make a room or something this month.
