Then chris realise he was a fool

Sorry it's all rushed i'm just about to leave for Brittens and tried doing this while packing... anyway not abd for a first attempt :P
#584
Yea I checked it out the other day. It definatley looks promising and humourous and will be eagerly awaiting it's release as I'm sure some other people will be.

Cheers Matt and SSh. But will I need to be a member of the library to use it, in that case. Matt would you happen to be a member (Tell me if you are having difficulties seeing where I'm going...)

I wouldn't mind seeing some interesting and unique gui's used rather than the standard default AGS. Just a quick question, I'm not going to do it as I wan;t it to be a 100% magintz game, but would using RON resources ok for this game either this time round or in the future?
#587
Let's hope thats more accurate than my sources. Although BBC said it would rain in the afternoon in London. But it rained in the morning and not since... slightly wrong.

Just a quick question I'm hoping Matt can answer for me...

Will I be able to get access to Internet from anywhere in Staines (internet Cafe, McDonalds etc...). My exam results come out on Monday and I want to see what i got.

jetcl, are you bringing those jiggly breasts ^^^

Joking... So almost Brittens time. I should arrive between 1 and 2 as well. I checked the weather forecast and it appears we might be setting our tents up in the rain. (I'll need a hand from some people as my tent is big).

Lets hope the weather clears up for the weekend.

I'm off to go pack :P

I think m0ds said everyone chip in £10 for food, although this may change:

The price per person is £5 per night to camp

we'll organise food money there, but the smart thing to do would be for everyone to chip in then m0ds or cj can drive down get food, etc...

So Ashen, you'll need cash for each night to be paid up front first, and I believe there is a £5 or £10 deposit for this key thing they give you, plus at least £10 for the food.

So if your staying at the campsite friday - friday you'll need £35, plus say an extra £20 for deposit and food. Next you'll need money for trains, planes and automobiles :D

EDIT - Don't fret, once paying this large amount you'll only need to spend money on yourself such as trips out, souvenirs etc. And another quick note, don't forget towels, they have showers on site ;)

Also remember taxi drivers are lying cheating bastards around airports. So ask how much it will cost before getting in there *looks at jetxl*, and a london black cab cannot turn down taking you, it's illegal I think. If they say no insist they take you.

How interesting. Seems that AGS doesn't recognize the BMPs Paint.Net generates. Instead, it sees a block of black. I had to resave it as PNG.

Yes I had the same problem how very odd. Chris, any suggestions or improvements you can make to AGS? I found I have to copy and paste into normal paint first.

is this paint program working with win98se or only with xp

As far as I know because this uses the .net framework it will only work in XP. Maybe 2000, not sure.

Yes campsite is cash only as far as I can remember, they may accept a cheque?

As for pots and pans that would be great, last time we had to cook everything in cans and on tin foil. As for BBQ's will we be getting them there. I take it our food contribution fund goes towards this?
#592
Yarr, ye can count me in!
#593
Creed, not sure if we will need your extra 1 person tent as we have m0ds biggie and I can fit maybe an extra 2.

As for chairs I bought 1 today so i can bring 3 chairs and a stool in total
#594
My count so far is:

Tent Spaceage Total: 16
Chair Totalage: 14
Vegatarians: 5

Although I haven't heard from Yufster, SSH or ShatteredSponge.

There will be 20 of us needing tents and chairs, which means we fall short some, but I have only included everyone's minimum space, so we might be able to squeeze some people in, and I haven't included m0ds' big 6 person tent either.

I think at the moment chairs are more of an issue.
#595
Also if there is an Index/Littlewoods near you they are having a closing down sale on all their Index stock, which means all tents and tent equiptment is 40% off.
#596
Ok, like Chris said we have 5 days people so I think it might be a good time to finalise some things.

1. If you are bringing a tent
2. How many people it can sleep (how many will be sleeping in it.)
3. If you are bringing chairs
4. How many chairs
5. Estimated time of arrival (optional)
6. Any special eating requirements (vegetarian, vegan, allergies etc...) - might be helpful to know
7. Nights staying

We may end up having more tents than we need and more chairs than we need, which we don't want.

Here's me...

1. Yes
2. 6 (3, but has large storage area for bags, food etc...)
3. Yes
4. 3
5. Sometime after midday
6. None
7. The whole thing, that's friday1st to... umm.... what day is it finishing? the following friday?

Tent Spaceage Total: 16
Chair Totalage: 14
Vegatarians: 5

If you check out the contribution thread you should be able to get some free resources, and if you really can't draw or animate RON is always a good choice.

Seriously, what's a popstick?

And secondly, Kinoko. What engine are you planning to make your RPG in? And what sort of style will it be, more like final fantasy and the such (turn based) or more like zelda and run in straight hack and slash.

I was really looking forward to meeting you, but don't worry. We'll send the burnt sausages and onion rings in the mail along with photo's of chris' annual pee stained trousers ;)
