23%

How many people said they wanked too much? (remember there are two types of people in this world... wankers and liar's

EDIT: Just taken the sparks test and came up with 22% gay. I spose that it must be true, I'm 22.5% gay, less than average, I'm pleased...... I woulda expected higher..... I errr mean Higher like 24%

Adventure Related Talk & Chat / Re:TUTOR ME!

Heh, I know AGS like the back of my hand...

... that hand being the one I lost in Nam which I havn't seen for several years, but I know quite a bit, but instead of starting a new thread, I'm looking for an art mentor, one to help me develop general drawing skills, such as perspective, shading etc... and general practicing. Could someone maybe set me examples or exercise's and coach me along?

Dear fellow adventure gamers,

I need some help. For my A-Level graphics coursework I have decided to promote my new game by designing a display stand and cd-cover. For this I need to create a portfolio, and one of the sections is to research my target audience â€" you guys ‘n’ gals.

Please can as many people as possible answer this questionnaire, it is ready to be copy and pasted for your ease. Don’t worry about filling in everything, just do as much as you can.

Thanks ^_^

2)   What makes it easy to identify an adventure game from any other genre?

3)   What makes you choose a game? (e.g. screenshots, reviews, description etc…)

4)   When buying a game what information would you like to see on the product or display?

5)   Name three characteristics of a typical super-hero

6)   They say an image can speak 1000 words, would you buy a game just because of the images displayed on the box? What type of impact do images give to you?

Advanced Technical Forum / Change Hotspot Name
Thu 21/08/2003 13:28:59
How do I do this? I want a hotspot's name to be bottles at one point, and when you look at them the description changes to Whiskey?

Can this be done? If so, how?

Thanks CJ, I thought tghis was helpful as I struggled with this at first. I found the helpguide provided with AGS useful, but felt a tutorial with free open soure would help, i'll develop this into creating full parsing for people, and reccomend that they start here, I'm going on mittens next week and the week after that I'm working (might get the next tute done but not sure)

hope some people find it useful

Well I created the tutorial, I wrote it in word. The Zip file contains the open source file and the step by step walkthrough to help explain everythign a bit better.
