PSP's "Export - Gif Optimizer" lets you choose transparent colour. Same goes for Png, and you can have alpha transparency too, but the browser support isnt as good.

I checked the fag facts page, it's a copypaste job from godhatesfags.com.

Edit: Let's just add that I don't think these hoaxes were made with very good taste. They rarely are, and the humour is supposed to be in the reactions of enraged people.

There's always a handul of people who believe hoaxes like that. For the reactions of those people it's worth to spend time doing the site. I'm ready to bet my left arm and a leg that this site is nothing but 100% flame bait. Sure there are people with views quite different from what we believe in, but this one has "HOAX" written all over it with bright, flashing neon lights.

Replies like Flippy's are exactly what the site and the poster were after. It's a reward for their work.

Well. I've spent years (countless hours, hundreds of pages of handwritten markup, hundreds of handmade images) to make my own parody pages and none of them really have a disclaimer for being a parody.  My own humour isn't really flame bait type but I don't think there is any question whether this one is a parody or not. The same goes to OneManArmy.

I don't understand why the fact that someone has spend long time in making something somehow makes it more likely to be serious? I for one take my humour very seriously, and I would spend just as much if not more time to make a site for a hoax as I would on a site about my pet dog or whatever serious.

I like the texture in the colours. Now, if there had been a wardrobe against the wall, wouldn't the mark be darker compared to other wallpaper? Wood surfaces tendf to get darker, wallpaper tends to get lighter in the sunlight. Also, the computer desk looks slightly small or the room is really tall. Some of the clothing on the floor should follow the perspective a little better to look like they're actually laying on the floor.

Well, I admit that I hopped on the AGS train in the end days of Ezboard and didn't read everything posted so far... This whole issue just reminds me of some old people who go around preaching how youth is horrible these days and how things were way better in the olden days when nothing really has changed.

Easy way to improve the depth is to do a half correct perspective:

Just make the horizontal lines to have less space as you go higher.

I'd also add more lights/shadows to other surfaces than just the trees. And make the light source consistent; now it looks like the trees have light from the right and the brick fence has light from the right.

I think many of the so called "oldbies" need to take a serious look into the ezboard topics and think if something has really changed. I don't think so. Segregating posters is a punch in the nuts of the community (including "oldbies") and the engine. Everyone loses.

If you really must to make a fair oldbie forum, let the poster decide whether they belong there or not. Put a very low post restriction there to weed out first time posters who don't know their way around the forums yet.

It doesn't really matter to what you base the discrimination; age, post count, demos finished, games finished, join date, whether they're been to mittens or not - most newbie posts are just as mature as most by those who would have the "elite" status.

General Discussion / Yay! I won a trophy!

I was so close of getting my first Worth1000 Advanced Photoshopping contest win in the last one but finally dropped to silver trophy. Nevertheless, I couldn't be much happier :)

My award winning Houndger

This photoshopping stuff is seriously hindering my pixel art & game developement efforts. And sleeping :)

Damn you DGMacphee for that link in the beginning of these posts... So I went to check what this worth1000.com site was all about and now I'm addicted.

I also thought I was pretty skilled in photo editing, but placing 49th out of 56 in training grounds kinda dropped me back on earth right at my first entry.

I would just skip the flower. No matter how right you get it, it doesn't look right.

I don't think many Finns would be offended if a unitedstatesian made a joke about Tarja Halonen, let it be about assasination or anything else. I think most Finns would be pretty impressed just by the fact that someone knew the name of our president.

Most unitedstatesians (some of them family) I know share similiar view with me on US foreign politics so I guess I tend to forget that some people actually believe Bush is the best thing since sliced bread. And no, I have nothing against Americans as people.

I won't say anything.
