Hmm.... What format are your sounds, are they speech or sound effects, did you rebuild vox files, are your sound card options allright? How big is your game? how much memory you have? How much free disk space you have? It could be the machine running out of resources or something...

no, no, im getting the crash without even HAVING sound files or anything. either playing someone else's game or simply doing new game, saving and testing it.
and it ONLY happens on newer version of ags like 2.56d.
all older games work.

now sound worked to me semi-fine (i had to change the options a lil' bit) since the winAGS files. but in ver. 2.56d (last one i had before that is 2.54) it seems like the game crashes first time when i run the game with sound. it doesnt even display the sound init error, just heavily crushes.
I dont know which details to give so tell me if i didnt say something:

im using win98, VIA PCI audio controller as sound card. im sorry but i cant download the new beta to check if it continues. (but i haven't found a sound-comptibility fix i think..)

oh yes. i remember seeing the game few weeks before. liked it... are there other games (online or not, but free) like this one?

okie i was kinda busy but lately i tried to continue with my sketch. since following the techniques using the tutorial (i probably just didnt understand the tutorial...) went all wrong (my bed became a bed tube), i then decided to just try to do something and see what happens (after all thats how i did the sketch at the first place)

i really need help with proportions and perspection! can someone please help?

btw : sorry for the inconvinience with the large pic... i'd re-upload it but i dont want to upload to much on the ags uploading server thingie...

make the hotspots a bit less obsecure like the table or was that the jar you had to click for slime to shake the book off after you put the lamp cord to it... also its almost unpossible to figure out about the batteries! and the menu behind the table... and some things are not hinted at as well as obscure without explanation (the talkin menu) but nice game overall

I think that if the game is based on LBA, it should have ripped graphics from lba...
but if its not completely based on it (like a lba 1.5 or something) then it should have original graphics

looks great. just wondering : is this gonna be an adventure game or an interactive tour?
