I had progressed pretty far in the game before pickin' up the magma and Wretched had mentioned to make sure my feather duster WAS NOT lit and one of my tasks would be to 'figure out how to leave the lair'.....

I'm having the same problem in the lair..... the difference is, I CAN'T LEAVE! I've tried everything in my inventory, everywhere! I've tried the runes on the shell AND that obstacle in the middle. Those are the only places where I get any kind of response. How'd you get out of there?

how do I get the dragon egg.  I have 4 runes and have used them on stone in lair, but not sure in the right order or if there is something else to do.  Also, don't know how to clear the snow in front of the house.

I was told to not do the chicken thing until I pick up the magma; however, the only way I know to get into the dragon's lair is to place the feather (that I get from the chicken) at one of the 'feather spots' to be carried by the chicken then 'fly' to dragon's lair. YES, I've been to the dragon's lair----but I hadn't picked up the magma, yet

go ahead and do the chicken thing but don't actually do the race.  Just go to the lair.  Game will count down and you can do it for real later

I know 'what' to get to pick up the magma. Where do I find it? I also picked up the fish in the bubble way early in the game and have no idea how. Also, I've progressed quite far in the game and was told that I have to ignore going further in some areas until I pick up the magma! LOL!

I am still getting the message that says something like "Now he went god knows where, nevermind" after I go to the second house and talk to the chicken. Ã, Then my timer just stops. Ã, [\hide]

Well crud, I thought I had this figured out because I found the fish, but obviously there are more than 3 places in the chicken race.....argh, this one is driving me crazy.

I get as far as the giant chicken dropping me off at the witches house when I go behind the house to talk to the chicken, my timer ends even though there is time left on it and it says "he went god knows where, nevermind"

Yep the lost talk icon is a bug, just go to the pigs and it will come back when you leave.

After getting into the dragons lair and talking to the sad guy, I completely lost my talk icon.  I flew back down from the lair and went back to the house where I got the broom and still no talk icon.  Don't know how to get back to lair, but don't think it would matter if I can't talk.  This is my only saved game, so please tell me there is something that I am just not doing right.

I kept knocking on door and window and kept speaking to door and window (Not sure if it makes any difference but I looked at/interracted with river then went back) and eventually I was told where broom was.[\hide]
