Cold in Turkey?

Ponch, you can write something remarkable, something that would make us readers change our view on life and cows, and then delete it on the very last minute before the competition ends, delete your ags profile as well, your email accounts and facebook. You then would have changed the future without even existed...

do the marks look like done by a animal?

Fair enough, we are being silly about the location of the duel anyway, and no one would be your champion!

But, why not take the radio with us? It's portable, there are batteries in the crates and a antenna and I'm pretty sure WHAM will make us use it sometime.

>search tent3

A distant HQ may have ordered the camp to be evacuated, our hero somehow "lost" some part of the events that led to the camp being empty? I don't know. I would contact somebody if I had a radio.
But if you want to settle this since we don't have a agreement than I challenge you for a duel, Crimson Wizard!
The rules are simple:
- no magic allowed!
- you may choose a champion to fight instead of you, I choose Ponch since he clearly has something against you!
- I choose the fighting grounds, and it is in Portugal, tonight at 10 pm or you loose!

I can see you chicken out on this! Hahahahahaha!

Allow me to disagree my fellow roleplayer, my opinion is that he has all the feelings that something is terribly wrong. Life in the army involves something called a role call, (early on in the morning), well it's mid-day and he was asleep and does not remember why wasn't he awake by dawn like every other single day in his life as a military. There's nobody around, not even sounds of the daily chores soldiers must do. He has a radio in front of him and should try to contact a superior rank soldier to find out what's going on in there. Plus, I believe the radio is portable, meaning that he should carry it with him.
Between the radio and the lamp I would take the lamp but we all know by now that the lamp is haunted...

Hi Onker,

Just want to tell you that you're doing a great job treating Ponch's paranoia with cows and females.

This must be THAT only movie that features people falling from the sky hitting on unaware dogs. Those guys from the CIA covered up as barbers sure did trick me!
So, yes, it's "Samurai Dog Lover - part 1"!

I believe that the worse possible scenario would be to cover the lamp with the flag, and that's what the evil spirit that resides in the lamp is trying to accomplish.
Imagine...the horror...the horror...a nazi flag conceiving the evil lamp...
the horror...

Just after licking your fingers and just before you were reaching for the lamp, the ghost voice returns in a deep echo:
"Die Lampe wirst geraten Sie außer betrieb!"

You think about life and why Frodo is a girl and then decide to just move on...away from the LAMP!

>use the radio to contact command centre

...while at it, search for cabaret songs. Ah, I really miss motherland!
And stay away from the LAMP!

It was a big surprise to see that this thread was started by me! Didn't remember that!
But picking your words, Ali, I agree that some film directors get their inspiration from the silent movies but it ends right there. You can only have a few minutes of stage-like frames in a modern movie.
It's fantastic that so many people still love the classic adventure looks on games and still produce games in that fashion but I believe that modern engines that fuel games like Uncharted and the likes could be used (LA NOIR) to produce adventure games. Imagine GK3 done with the Unreal engine.
Have you seen the new Epic Mickey trailers? It's looks are just amazing, imagine the same technology used with the great adventure games story tellers?
Hey, I'm not against classic adventure games, I still play them, I love them and I have done some crappy ones myself, but I wish that technology and story telling meet sometime soon.
And, forgive me if I'm being bold, but everything changes and there is always ways to improve, even the authors of those 90's master-pieces wish that they had better technology.

I think he should try to be the first to think of the song "99 Luftballons", and ask for a name change, something like Nena.
