The theme is just too interesting for people not keep coming back to it. WW2 was the main event of the past century and the fact that there are people still alive to tell, hundreds of hours of film and a universal curiosity about it makes it a prime time subject all the time.
To me, the German part of the story is the most interesting, the other sides had their own private agendas concerning the future of some European countries, and most of the parts were no saints, but to understand the mind of such a fascinating nation like Germany is what drives me into WW2.
Of course, one has to follow the events prior to the invasion of Poland. To fully understand WW2 it is crucial to understand what happened at WW1 and its aftermath.
Due to my job I socialize daily with Germans and I do sometimes think to myself about the legacy that was the 3rdReich on those people. Financially they are fine, better than most Europeans, but the scars on their lives aren't smaller than all the ones they inflicted on others.
Wham, this theme is a best seller, I hope that you can make this social game into something great.

society (doesn't matter what type) has the effect of conducting people into "sheep" state. Being depressed and encapsulated on our own bubbles is just one of the collateral damage it can do.
My advice is very simple: return to the bases, your main priority is to survive the best way you can through your long-life.
If people in your life depend on you then you have extra responsibility. Accepting that responsibility is what makes you a better man.
If you are alone, you have the duty of being the best you can. Meaning that you have to set objectives and do your best to accomplish them.
Can you do better at work? Could you do better at a different job? You and only you know that. Fight for it.
Can you be a better musician? Fight for it.
Most people go through depressing states now and again, most of them also don't talk about it because it's a sign of weakness for this "jungle" like society we live on.
Well, maybe you have to trick them into thinking you are confident and happy and show strength. Go out and socialize, use religion, play music or make games, do what you must to kick that depressing state you are in. But you have to fight, it's never easy. For no one.

Ultimately and from a pragmatic point of view, we, as persons, need goals and objectives to function. And our main goal is to survive the best way we can.

Ancient Aliens (for now): game about the ancient aliens theory, mystery, ancient artefacts, archaeology

Ancient Aliens will attempt to be a classic adventure game with Indiana Jones and Broken Sword being its main source of inspiration. I front a group of game fanatics that are willing to produce the game (pay for artists). The game will have professional writer(s) doing dialogues and cut-scenes.
