You guys are such a ignoramious bunch! And of course ddq is to blame!

It's the pilot-show from Fringe in the 70's...

Okay, I got it now. Dumb Miguel!

That means that I actually have to manually copy/paste lines, right?

Thanks for the help guys.

Did a quick run and yes, it feels pretty cool and retro in a good way!

Good job, the full game should be very entertaining and I imagine it has a lot of replay value.
Congratulations!

Being changed as in only changing the original lines...

First time I did it, the Editor "asked" me to include actual translations lines and I added just 3 letters on the first empty line...
#1525
I didn't explain my problem well,

the .trs file being changed is for proof-reading matters.

I've tried to do in some different ways but it somehow doesn't get all text modified...
#1526
Sorry to double post here!

Did anybody had the same issue with translation files?
#1527
I can't seem to do it, no.
Somehow the editor is not updating the new .trs...

Listen Icey, you shouldn't be mad with anyone here, but people here are mad with you! Do you realize that your credit has just ran out? Trust is something very hard to gather but very easy to loose.

I agree that there should be some kind of punishment for what you've done, but the most important thing here is for you to understand why people are mad at you. And members your age prove every day that it's not that adults are hard on you but its your immature behaviour that can't be accepted.

Everybody here has failed and will fail again, we're all humans and allowed to have a bad day but what makes us grow up is accepting that we have failed.

Be a good boy, apologize and stay calm for a while. Do your thing but always acknowledge that for every act (post) you do there will be consequences.

Thanks Khris but I can't do it right, looking at the .trs file I can see that it has repeated lines, some "spell-corrected" and some in their original form. I followed your example but it still doesn't work.

Is there a way to erase the original lines completely so that it doesn't get repeated? Somehow the editor ignores the new .trs file...

Nice. Good idea. I only wish characters were more realistic, but it might work;) Good luck!

Thanks Grim,
I understand your concern, I'll need to be subtle on this one and still make it entertaining. It's hard to keep everything together as I go more and more into the game.

What a sad day this is. I've stood up for Icey a couple of times, I always thought of him as a determined young kid that could grow safely in this community. He was never the type of coming in, do his thing, insult everybody and leave. He kept coming with his never-ending saga and we could see him improve.

This was bad, and I think he has to understand that. Not realizing his mistake would be a step back on his growing up. We must not forget that he's only a kid.

Bad Icey, bad-bad Icey!

Thanks, I hope I can make it interesting without being judgemental.
Tintin, a nazi? Who would think of that!

Leather Bras - The Pointy Attack?

Hi there,

I've had some problems when updating a translation file into a game,
is this the right way to do it?

-change the new .trs file for the old one;
-'Update All' where it says Translations on the Editor;
-Compile the new translation file;
-Make new exe (in my case because the game is finished);

Thanks

Pretty slow to me here as well, it's not something new though,
count me in if there's a way(money) to contribute for a new server.

Darth Rest assure that I will not turn this production into some political debate, like you said, if somebody wants to talk about it just PM me and I'll be happy to answer every message.

Chicky & Ascovel my drawing style being compared with Hergé is a honour to me, thank you very much! But the intention wasn't to show a Nazi Tintin... ;)

The Camp is set on WW2 environment, the year is 1944 and the Nazi were suffering heavy defeats on the war front.
The main character is a German soldier, young and with a mind of his own. He's above all, human.
On a remote concentration camp, the orders were to "clean up" the site and leave no evidences of irregular acts. Problems arrived when the Nazi soldiers were told to finish up and leave in a week's time. There were still prisoners on the camp and a decision was made by high Nazi ranks...

The game will feature 800x600 backgrounds, animations and a deep story, and I intend to deliver it with the best of my abilities.
All the events and names will be based on historical facts, although it will be, of course, a work of fiction.
I intend to show violence not as a showcase but as a way to remember people that the nature of men can and will be evil if the path presented to them by life is of a evil nature.
In the end, I'll try not to judge but to show how many persons a man can be during his life.

Stay tuned...
