Well, the Soviets...sorry the Russians, have already reacted to Obama's World Domination plan.
It looks like Putin has shuffled the cards and handed them back the same way.
There is a big parade on the red square today, like the ones happening back when USSR was still on.
I believe it is a clear message, the World Powers need to be clarified.
I believe the USA democracy will suffer from it, a shame IMO, because it's still pretty much a "dream that can come true" to the eyes of the world.

I apologize for the spoiler.

...extremely crappy games being made...

That's agressive like most of your comments, sorry Rui.

Thank you Skuttleman, even if it doesn't work right, I believe every democracy should have a senate.
The wise should prevail.

I guess in Europe everything is more serious. Colbert would be a one week joke here, not more.

Clinton (Bill) was known for his concern on fair policies on immigrants and social affairs, and that was told, first-hand by people I know who live in the USA.
If Hillary will do the same, I don't know, but I would vote for her because of that.
I know that close friends of my family have suffered from Bush take on immigration and minorities.
But I have this hint that McCain will be the next president.

Can an American answer my question?
I became very interested on this subject since I saw on TV a Rocky/Wrestling mock up of the American Elections. I thought, this guys don't give a d... about it!

Can't you just use comments and search for the texts? Like:

//This is a comment.

/* This is a comment, too.*/

I do comment my script and never said I didn't, but I would like to have access to parts of it quickly,
As you know, a function can have hundreds of lines and looking for it can be exhausting.
Adding a mark on line xxxx could really help.

Some European people have the impression that the USA presidents are just the face and the front of some powerful groups. The general idea is that there is no difference between candidate A or B.
So, as a European guy I answer with a question, how powerful is a American president and what is the senate's part in the big decisions?
Please consider this a mere statement of opinion.

Rui: You can find out about   "the spoiler"  after playing for about 10 minutes, that's why I decided to write about it. Also, everything leading to that event is very linear so one quickly gets there.
Also, the voice over isn't that bad compared with some other AGS games, and that is what we should compare, not to some comercial games with real actors.
AGS games are still amateur games, as far as I know, and thank god for that.

I know these'll probably go in 3.03 or whatever but I'd like:

a) A "global" search that can either search ALL scripts (including rooms?) or possibly even searches dialogues, gui, view, control, character names, too
b) A spell-checker that's clever enough to know about script and dialogue script syntax.

Hi to all,
what about some markers on the scripts? I could use that a lot, sometimes searching for pieces of script can be hard specially the globalscipt.asc
Imagine this:
REM 1 code for opening stuff goes here
   {code
REM 2 code for blah blah
   {code
...
A pane that we could easily go to REM 1 would be great
It's obviously not a primary request.

Congratulations WHAM, very nice game, the graphics are simple in a good way and the sound quality is really above-average (very good acting), I love those automatic door opening! :)
Too bad about Michael Owen's injury, oh well, at least he got a job in the marines!
Really, great game so far, good story, the main character leaving his mates behind works very well.
Congrats!
I also like it when Ellie screams :=

- Hey, Bartender! Have you seen a dwarf around here?

Hmmm. I'll wait for a mirror then, looks like you all having problems downloading.
Can't wait to play it though. :)

Hi fluxmaster,
I downloaded the game and played it for a while and I think that the concept is interesting.
As to answer your question, you should go for Choice 1. Get it all fixed and see what happens. You can always go back to the game and improve on the art.
The part on Choice 1 about asking money should not be a big thing (IMO), most games here are free and I believe it's the way they should stay.
Again, it's easy to see that your game has potential and originality and I wish you the best.
I'll spend more time on the game and try to beat it. Report later.
:)

 Hi Babar,
One thing it could help you on your questions is that you must understand that adventure games are, by nature, slow paced interactive games. So, what you get is people looking at the backgrounds and your characters with time to absorb the mood. You mentioned Diskworld and you can see that the backgrounds are cartoon like drawn, and I clearly remember the staircase on the Unseen University drawn almost in a surrealistic way which is funny also.
Animations are a great part of the humour on an adventure game (little things like picking objects can add a great deal to the experience) when done in a comic way.
Dialogs sure make the experience more humorous if well written.
I honestly think there is even a AGS kind of humour in the games made around 2003/04 when I started downloading them.
Those games had the Underground feel that somewhat got lost with a crescent urge to make games more advanced and commercial like.
