Another year, another award and another game. I'll be a happy man if I can present you a game every year. It's a passion.

Please consider this 1st chapter of Ancient Aliens, a classic story of good versus evil, done with a noir touch!

Help Chet Gasbag to unravel the strange and dangerous legacy that landed at his feet after his father death. Professor Gasbag was an important archaeologist on the brink of discovering a source of power that could change the world.

Will Chet, a bohemian jazz trumpet carry on his father quest?

Words of the immense power  hidden somewhere in Africa have travelled half the world and Chet will not be alone. Danger peeps on every corner!

With the assistance of the lovely Vivian, Chet will start an adventure that will turn his life upside down.

Hand-drawn backgrounds and sprites, a fantastic original soundtrack and smart puzzles will bring you closer to Chet's Chicago of 1992!

And the plot and dialogues, did I mentioned how great they are?

To release a new Barn Runner game and maybe a remastered edition of the first Barn Runner game since 2014 marks the tenth anniversary of the series.

Funny, Ponch, I had just mentioned this game in the pick-of-the-month thread! I think it's a great idea to remaster it. Put your damn good drawing skills working man!

CptainD, I was thinking about the same, I know Mods left the "releasing" business in 2013. Will 2014 be the same?

While all your proposals would be great to be pick of the month, I too want to travel back in time and resurrect a graphic novel master piece:
Barn Runner 1 - The Armaggedon Eclair.

Well written, great drawings, a sci-fi story reminiscent of R.Scott's cult movie with added tons of humour and twists like a pretzel!

I've been working on it everyday dude, no kidding.
I'm doing it as I would do an original so it will not be just a joke-game. I hope to make a decent game featuring Dennis and his mates...
I promise to show something early January.

I guess everybody wanted to talk with Robina the Ranger in order to set our military force as soon as possible.
We'll then have Lancelot and Robina and their men plus the new trained town guard. Sounds safe enough.
I say that if we hire Robina we send her straight away on quests for treasures and land mapping.

I hope that one day people will demand my OSD game so bad that it hurts! Yeah baby!

To display something like the day and time, make a GUI with a GUI label, and use the Label.Text property and String.Format() to display the string you want. You probably want to update the content of the label in repeatedly_execute().

I've heard negative feelings about TWOT before and then have people actually growing fond of the characters and become addicted. But of course it's all down to taste and what one expects from fantasy books.
