Remember to quote the post you want to +1 for voting purposes. It makes my life soooo much easier when I tally the votes on what action to run next. :)

Yes it is, the one and only Gina Lollobrigida!

Yes, we really need to have at least a town census. A herald sounds good and cheap as well.

Looks like I'm going to win this competition!...:=
And it's not even a Portuguese movie!

Yup the sex scene is something hot! Slater looses his virginity if I recall to a beautiful dangerous gipsy like girl. He's also the narrator, like in the book.
I watch The Name of The Rose every time it shows on TV. Just like Rocky IV, I just can't skip those movies.

Btw, it's not Ass Vegas or Dolce Vita.

Well Slasher the idea isn't exactly new. If it's a community thing you're aiming at I think that the RON series is what you should check.

I've watched it and loved it when it came out. Read the book after and it has some really clever puzzles (would bring a fantastic adventure game).

Now lets workout those clever minds of yours ;):

Baron, maybe we could start "small" and do a census of the town and castle population first. That can be done by JESTERINO and will cost us a bottle of booze. When we have money coming in we could think about hiring ministers.

If food really matters in this game, the first thing we should do is guarantee that there's enough for our people. That's basic stuff. Raise crops, plant trees, build fishing boats, etc...

Also, I think it would be important to create a royal newspaper where we could "inform" our people about the policies we intend to do.
At the same time, we could allow at least one public/private newspaper as well, that way we could grasp the public opinion about the King.

Well, the music does loop for me but it sometimes stutters a bit.
I'm playing around with Tululoo for html5 games and while it's free it will of course crash on you for weird reasons. I guess that's what you pay for: stability.

> ASK JESTER for TOTAL POPULATION of our town and what are their occupations/jobs;

I think we could benefit from Lancelot expertise if we ever want to train soldiers. Therefore it's important to know how many fit men are around town that don't have an occupation.

WHAM: Also, things like how much food we need monthly to feed our people, raw materials and the likes, do we need to concern about this things?
#793
I've been playing this game on the html5 version and it runs pretty well except for some music stutter. Also I could not run in on Firefox although Chrome runs it well.
I'm enjoying it very much, there's a nice old-school pace to it and the writing is pretty cool. Graphics as well.
Good job!
Does the free game maker version allows you to export to html5?

So, no maps anywhere? We have no clue where is the sea or the mountains or a river? But we conquered a castle obviously without any geographical knowledge of the area we live in...
And what about the latrines? An army has to have latrines. Are they outside in the backyard? Do we have a backyard?
Is ours a towncastle? What town?
Lancelot better carry pencil and paper with him...you know...between fights.

See first post in the thread. :)

Sorry Wham, I wasn't really upset, just my Portuguese humour!  :-D
You're doing a great job and I love this game!

Hi Crimson,
the game is finished and playable although not tested and the code was so messy that I abandoned it.
Some months ago, Stee asked if he could have a look at it and took the game out of my hands.
I haven't spoke to him for a while now but I know he's working on it, revamping graphics and recoding it as well.
#798
I think that hiring LANCELOT is a good decision. But before sending him to explore I believe we should have at least a MAP of the Kingdom.
There must be some records of previous alliances, both commercial and military with other nations. We should know more of the land history.
